Where to Find Lise in Code Vein 2

In the present day, fast-travel to Hill Overlooking Clock Tower, head south, and speak to the young woman on the hilltop above Josee’s Outpost. She unlocks the shelter where Lise’s device is found and lets the Lise quest continue. Getting there depends on a short chain of earlier story steps, which are covered below.

Prerequisites: what has to happen first

Lise’s search is gated behind the Holly-related storyline in the Undead Forest. The chain below comes from the XboxAchievements and PlayStationTrophies road map guides for Code Vein II, which describe the sequence in the same order.

Step-by-step route to Lise

1. Progress Holly’s storyline in the Undead Forest and change history. The Sanatorium’s state changes as a result of this history change, and the Lise pickup becomes available only after that point.
2. Check the Sanatorium reception desk for Lise’s Hair Ornament. Pick it up from the desk once the Sanatorium has changed. The guides place this pickup before or around the later Hero Holly fight, so check the desk right after the history change rather than waiting for that fight.
3. Return to Josee’s weakened bond and travel to 2192: The Hero Josee’s Era 2. Continue the defense and rescue sequence in Josee’s era until the quest sends you to find Lise in the present.
4. Fast-travel to Hill Overlooking Clock Tower. Once you are back in the present, use the fast-travel point at this location, then head south toward the young woman waiting outside near the clock tower.
5. Speak to the woman. She gives you the shelter key. Enter the shelter to find Lise’s device, which is needed for the next stage of the quest.

Finding the hilltop on the map

The two guides describe the same hilltop with slightly different anchor landmarks. Use both cues together to orient yourself on arrival. The guides give landmarks and a general direction rather than measured distances or coordinates, so treat the table below as a way to confirm you are in the right spot rather than an exact position.

What is and is not established

• The Lise chain runs through the Holly storyline, the Sanatorium history change, and Josee’s era before the search moves to the present.
• Both guide descriptions agree on the fast-travel point, the southward direction, and the woman who opens the shelter.
• The guides do not state the game version, platform, or any platform-specific differences, so the route may vary if your build differs. Check the in-game map and quest log if a landmark does not match.

If you cannot find the woman on the hilltop, confirm the Josee’s era sequence has finished and that you are in the present timeline before retrying. Fast-travel to the clock tower point and walk south again, using the eastern tunnel as your reference.
