Purified water can appear in world containers, particularly chem boxes, according to the Fallout Wiki item page. That page specifically lists two purified waters inside the prison at Rollins Labor Camp. Treat these as location notes, not guaranteed spawns: container contents may not be available when you arrive.

Check containers as you explore
Search chem boxes and other containers along your route if you only need a few bottles. The community-maintained item page describes purified water as common in the world, but it does not provide an official, guaranteed spawn map.
Try Rollins Labor Camp
The Fallout Wiki lists two purified waters inside the prison at Rollins Labor Camp. Check the prison interior; the location reference does not establish that the items respawn on a particular schedule.

How to get a repeatable supply
Build and power a water purifier
A purifier at your C.A.M.P. or a workshop can produce purified water automatically when powered. The purifier reference says output varies by purifier size and that some types must be placed in a body of water; it does not establish verified current production rates. Bethesda’s player guide notes that C.A.M.P. fixtures are organized in build categories that include water and power.
Choose a purifier that suits the space and water access available at the build location, then make sure it has power. Collect its stored output regularly rather than assuming it will provide an unlimited supply.

Craft it when you have a filter
The Fallout Wiki recipe calls for dirty water and one water filter at a cooking or chemistry station. The water-filter page describes the filter as single-use and lists its plan at Toxic Valley locations including Pioneer Scout camp and Grafton Station. These recipe and plan details come from community-maintained references.
Collecting dirty water from a pump or natural resource adds radiation, according to the Dirty water item page. If you want the purified-water consumable, use a purifier, a vendor if one has stock, or the crafting recipe rather than drinking dirty water.

Check vendors, but do not rely on them
Some vendors may sell purified water, but the cited item reference does not name a specific vendor or guarantee stock. Treat vendor visits as an opportunistic option, not a dependable farming route.

No purified-water pickup is established by Bethesda’s Thirst Things First quest guide. It describes collecting water samples from a river and pumps, then boiling dirty water. That beginner quest is about obtaining and boiling water; it is not a confirmed purified-water location.

- Need water now: Search chem boxes and other containers, including the prison at Rollins Labor Camp.
- Want ongoing supply: Set up a powered purifier at a C.A.M.P. or workshop, accounting for its size and any water-placement requirement.
- Have dirty water and a filter: Craft at a cooking or chemistry station.
- Passing a vendor: Check for stock, but do not assume it will be available.
