Wild Radhogs live in Burning Springs, in southeastern Ohio. A community-maintained Fallout Wiki lists possible areas near landmarks including Dino Peaks Mini Golf, Fort Steuben, Albany, and Tycoon Lake; none is confirmed as a guaranteed spawn. The most distinctive place to search is north-northeast of Dino Peaks Mini Golf, near the entrance to a collapsed train tunnel.
Where to look for wild Radhogs
The Fallout Wiki’s Radhog location notes identify these possible wilderness areas in Burning Springs. Its animal counts are community estimates, not official spawn totals or guarantees.
| Area | Community estimate | Landmark detail |
|---|---|---|
| North-northeast of Dino Peaks Mini Golf | Around four | Near the entrance to a collapsed train tunnel |
| Far northeast of Fort Steuben | Around five | Spread among the trees |
| East of Albany | Around four | No further landmark detail stated |
| Northwest of Shade Hill Church | Around four | No further landmark detail stated |
| West of Tycoon Lake | Around three | No further landmark detail stated |
| Northeast of the Chop Shop | Around three | No further landmark detail stated |
| North of the unmarked Dow Lake Watershed in Strouds Run State Park | Around three | Far northeast of Athens |
Start with the collapsed-train-tunnel landmark if you want a clearly described search area, then try other listed areas if you do not find any. The wiki also describes Radhogs appearing in regional random encounters, but does not establish encounter odds, server-specific behavior, or respawn timing. Treat the location list as a set of places to check, not a reliable farming route.
Getting to Burning Springs
Bethesda describes Burning Springs as a region of southeastern Ohio. Its Burning Springs release notes say players can enter by crossing the bridge at Point Pleasant. Starting the region’s questline is separate: tune in to the Ohio Distress Signal after reaching level 30.

Approach carefully
Bethesda identifies the Radhog as a Burning Springs creature and describes it as tough and protective of its young. The release notes warn that it may attack if you get too close. Keep your distance while searching, especially if you spot young nearby.

The wild-location list is separate from the Radhog C.A.M.P. Pet. Bethesda says that pet is purchased through the Atomic Shop. After purchase, its bed is in the Workshop menu’s “Dwellers” section, while its Nose Ring is in the Armor Workbench’s “Pet Clothing” section. These cosmetic and placement details do not identify wild spawn locations.

Bethesda’s World Pets testing-server article discusses Radhog companions and passives in a public test build, including “Goo-Getter” for Toxic-Goo and “Rad-Dration” for High-Radiation Fluids while in a Nuke Zone. Those are test-server details, not confirmation of live-build mechanics.
