Each is listed as a level 0 terminal, so it does not require a Hacker perk. If a challenge calls for a specific level, use the level-by-level locations below to find a match.
Quick level 0 terminals to try
- Wade Airport: Look in the control tower.
- Landview Lighthouse: Check the keeper’s house.
- Camp McClintock: Go upstairs in the main building.
- Garrahan Mining Headquarters: The guide also lists a level 0 terminal here.
These are convenient examples, not a ranking of which terminal is closest to you; that depends on the map markers you have already discovered. The community location guide lists many more terminals by level and includes a map for locations outside instances. Its map is not an exhaustive index of terminals inside instances, and a reader comment dated April 10, 2026, reports a missing level 0 terminal at Fort Atlas.

The following locations are drawn from the community-maintained Nuka Knights guide, shown as updated April 3, 2026. Its lists provide options rather than a guaranteed complete inventory; exact placement has not been independently verified here.
Level 0
Level 0 terminals are listed at Abby’s Bunker, Abandoned Bog Town, Arktos Pharma, Bleeding Kate’s Grindhouse, Camp McClintock, Garrahan Mining Headquarters, Harper’s Ferry, Landview Lighthouse, Mama Dolce’s Food Processing, Morgantown Airport, Nuka World on Tour, Sugar Grove, Tygart Water Treatment, Vault-Tec Agricultural Research Center, Wade Airport’s control tower, and the general manager’s office in the Whitespring Mall.

Level 1
Level 1 locations include the Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie silos, Arktos Pharma, Charleston Fire Department, Converted Munitions Factory, Crevasse Dam, Dyer Chemical, Mama Dolce’s/Fujiniya Intelligence Base, Monongah, Red Rocket Mega Stop, and Watoga Civic Center.
Level 2
Level 2 locations include Athens and World of Corn in Burning Springs, several silo terminals, Fort Defiance, Garrahan Mining Headquarters, Kerwood Mine, Monongah Mine, Watoga High School, Watoga Emergency Services, and Watoga Transit Hub.
Level 3
Level 3 locations include several silo terminals, the third-floor gun range at Garrahan Estate, Grafton Dam, Pleasant Valley Cabins, and four terminals at Poseidon Energy Plant.
What perk do you need to hack each level?

The guide also identifies the legendary Master Infiltrator perk as an alternative; whether it automatically hacks a terminal depends on the perk’s level.

How to find terminals for a challenge without wasting a trip
- Check the challenge requirement. If it specifies a terminal level, choose a matching entry from the list rather than traveling to a convenient level 0 location that may not count.
- Pick a marker you have already discovered. Bethesda’s newcomer’s guide explains that discovered locations appear as map icons and can be fast-traveled to for a Caps cost.
- Reveal nearby options as you explore. Bethesda says train-station maps and lookout towers can reveal nearby points of interest. You still need to visit a location in person to fully discover it.
- Use the level map with its coverage limit in mind. Nuka Knights’ map covers non-instance terminals; do not assume it includes every terminal inside an instance.
How terminal hacking works
A hack presents candidate password words and reports how many letters match after each guess. Use that feedback to compare candidates and narrow down the password. The Nuka Knights guide describes four attempts before temporary lockout and notes that matching bracket pairs can reset attempts. It also says leaving after a third failed guess resets the attempts. These mechanics are described by the community guide rather than an official Bethesda guide.

If you are following the “Coming to Fruition” quest rather than looking for a general challenge terminal, Bethesda’s walkthrough names Abbie’s Bunker, Harper’s Ferry, the Charleston Capitol Building, and a relay tower along the quest route. Sam’s terminal is on the Charleston Capitol Building’s third floor. This is a quest-specific route, not a complete list of terminals for general hacking challenges.
