The 16 Legendary Recipes in the base game are scattered across Ginormosia, usually on glowing pedestals marked by ancient books. Finding a recipe unlocks its blueprint; it does not mean you can immediately craft the item, since many require late-game materials. This guide follows the base-game locations listed by GameSpot on July 8, 2025. A later update adds Dark Dragon equipment recipes, so the 16 locations below are not a complete count of every recipe available in the current game.
What counts as “all” Legendary Recipes?
GameSpot’s July 8, 2025 guide lists 16 base-game Legendary Recipes, all found in Ginormosia. Most can be collected once Ginormosia is freely explorable, but some have access obstacles, and crafting the resulting gear may require later-game materials. GameSpot’s base-game guide provides the locations and recipe requirements.
The current scope is broader than that base-game list. LEVEL5’s Version 2.0 update page, with update information dated September 8, 2026 JST, says: “Defeat the mighty beast to obtain recipes for powerful Dark Dragon equipment!” The page identifies the Primordial Dragon as the source but does not give a complete recipe list or total count. All 16 base-game Legendary Recipe locations
Use the associated Life to decide which recipes to prioritize, or collect them as you explore each region. Location clues and Life associations below follow GameSpot’s guide; Gamer Guides independently corroborates several of the placements and access notes.

Collect blueprints while exploring
Once Ginormosia is freely explorable, most of the base-game pedestals can be reached without waiting for the materials needed to make their equipment. When near a listed landmark, look for the pedestal and its ancient book, then continue exploring rather than assuming the item is ready to craft.

Plan around access gates
The clearest story gate in the list is the Greatsword of Time at Fort Gardhart. GameSpot describes access after story and Shrine progress, with the Crow Feather required; Gamer Guides places obtaining that item in Chapter 7. The Legendary Feast has a different obstacle: Mining stat is needed to get past boulders in Nostruul Cave. Check those gates before making a detour specifically for either recipe. Expect material requirements after pickup
Recipe collection and crafting are separate milestones. GameSpot’s listed ingredients for many entries include high-rarity materials such as Legendary Don Horn, Legendary Shiny Diamond, Legendary Divine Log, Sugar Lumber, Gold Ingot, and Ancient Emerald, alongside recipe-specific ingredients. Use the recipe’s own displayed requirements to judge whether you can craft it now; the blueprint’s location alone does not establish that you have the necessary materials.
