In GTA 5, the car players usually mean by “Bugatti” is the Truffade Adder. In Story Mode, check Portola Drive in Rockford Hills, parked in front of the Sessanta Nove store. It is a reported frequent spawn, not a guaranteed appearance.
Where to find the Truffade Adder in GTA 5 Story Mode
- Go to Portola Drive in Rockford Hills, Los Santos.
- Check the curb or parking area in front of the Sessanta Nove store.
- If the Adder is not there, leave the immediate area and return later to check again.
GTA Wiki describes the Adder as heavily based on the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, and GTA Base also lists the Portola Drive location. These are secondary game-reference sources rather than an official Rockstar location guide: GTA Wiki and GTA Base.

Why you may not see it on every visit

The cited game references report that the Adder can be bought through the in-game Legendary Motorsport website for $1,000,000 in-game. GTA Wiki and GTA Base report this price; it is not an official Rockstar price confirmation, and it may not reflect every mode, platform, or edition. Check the in-game site for the current listed price.

What changes in GTA Online?
The same Portola Drive location is reported in GTA Online, but the spawn is conditional: GTA Wiki says another Adder must be nearby as a “spawn seed.” That makes the spot an unreliable way to acquire the car online. The reference also warns that a street-spawned Adder cannot simply be stored in a garage because of the car’s value. The Story Mode free-roam location should therefore not be treated as a dependable free Online acquisition.
Why the game calls it an Adder
Bugatti is not the vehicle’s in-game make. “Bugatti” is the familiar real-world comparison; the GTA 5 vehicle associated with the Portola Drive spawn is named Truffade Adder. Other Bugatti-inspired vehicles appear across the GTA series and GTA Online, but the Adder is the car this location answer refers to.

The location and mode-specific spawn details come from secondary game references. Rockstar Support’s relevant result concerns retrieving owned Import/Export Special Vehicles; it does not confirm the Adder’s Portola Drive location or its price: Rockstar Support: retrieving Import/Export Special Vehicles. Spawn behavior and in-game pricing can change, so treat the location and reported amount as reference information rather than a current Rockstar guarantee.
