How to find and photograph the Day 9 egg

Open the active Onsen Egg Promise progress and confirm that the displayed step is Day 9. The event directory maps Day 9 to February 8, 2026 in the original sequence, but that past date does not establish whether the event is currently available to every player or server. Travel to Winter Utopia and face the main building. Move to its right, toward the wooden walkway, then go underneath or around the walkway to reach the rock. Look there for the orange cracked egg. This location is given by both Gamezebo and Heartopia.Life.

Use the in-game camera to take a photo of the egg. The hunt step is completed by photographing it, rather than by finding a separate object to collect.

Why some guides show a different location
Published guides disagree about the Day 9 egg’s landmark. The Winter Utopia route is supported by two guides; other guides point to different areas. No official developer documentation was found to settle the discrepancy, so the Winter Utopia location is the best-corroborated route, not an officially confirmed one.

Recheck the active event progress and make sure it says Day 9; do not use the old February 8, 2026 event date as proof that the step is active now.

At Winter Utopia, search below the wooden walkway on the main building’s right side, including the area reached by going underneath or walking around it.

If the egg still does not appear, the guide descriptions conflict and current event availability has not been established for every player or server. The in-game progress display is the best indication of whether this is your active step.

The furniture bubble is a separate step
Do not confuse the egg’s photo location with the follow-up furniture bubble. Some guides place that bubble near the Fishing Village dock or pier after the photo registers, but bubble instructions vary and are not needed to locate or photograph the egg. Heartopia Tips; Theheartopia.com
