The Gun Runners are based at the Fortress, on the eastern edge of the Boneyard. From Adytum, travel north and then east toward the Deathclaw territory; the route passes through a dangerous area before you reach the Fortress.
Where is the Fortress?
The Boneyard is split into several locations, including Adytum, Downtown, the Library, the Warehouse, and the Fortress. The Gun Runners are at the Fortress—not in Adytum itself. It lies on the Boneyard’s eastern outskirts, beyond the Deathclaw warehouse. The Boneyard overview describes the region’s layout, while the Fortress entry identifies it as a reinforced pre-War facility in the eastern Boneyard.
How do you get there from Adytum?
- Start in Adytum and head north, then east toward the Deathclaw area.
- Continue past the Deathclaw warehouse area to reach the Fortress. The warehouse is between Downtown and the Fortress, and the approach is hazardous because of the Deathclaws.
That is a directional route, not a precise grid-by-grid path. The Fallout 1 Boneyard walkthrough provides additional area context.
What to expect at the Gun Runners’ Fortress
The Fortress is a reinforced weapons facility surrounded by a moat of toxic waste. It contains the Gun Runners’ weapon-making machinery and stock; Zack is the merchant associated with the location. The Gun Runners are known for selling high-quality firearms and ammunition.
