To reach it, defeat Tiger Vanguard and Stone Vanguard, use the statue beside the drained blood pool to open the cellar, then jump and use a heavy attack while sliding to land on the platform.
What the Tiger Relic does
Equipping the Tiger Relic makes using your Gourd moderately increase Critical Hit Chance for a short duration. The available item guides do not establish an exact percentage or duration, so there is no verified number to apply to a build calculation. See the Tiger Relic item page and GameSpot’s Gourd Drinks and Soaks guide.
How to get the Tiger Relic
- Reach Crouching Tiger Temple in Chapter 2. Go to the Temple Entrance area.
- Open the cellar route. Defeat Tiger Vanguard and Stone Vanguard, then interact with the statue beside the drained blood pool.
- Find the sand slide. Follow the cellar path until you reach the slope. The container holding the Soak sits on a raised platform above it.
- Jump onto the platform. While sliding, jump and use a heavy attack to reach the platform, then open the container.
The item page documents the boss and statue prerequisites; GameSpot’s guide also corroborates the jump-and-heavy-attack maneuver.
Don’t confuse Tiger Relic with Tiger Tally
Tiger Relic is a Soak that affects Gourd use. Tiger Tally is a separate Rare Curio: it increases Attack after successful Light Attack Combo hits. The names refer to different item categories and effects; see Game8’s Tiger Tally guide.
