For a full base-game X-01 set, head to the rooftop chamber at 35 Court in Boston’s Financial District after reaching level 28. Defeat the Assaultron and Sentry Bot, then use the controls in their rooms to open the central armor compartment. The National Guard Training Yard offers another possible power-armor find, while the Nuka-World add-on has the unique Quantum X-01 at Starport Nuka.
When to look for X-01
X-01 is level-dependent. The Fallout Wiki reports that pieces begin spawning at level 28; visit 35 Court before reaching that threshold and a lower-tier suit may appear when the location is generated. The same level threshold is reported for power-armor spawns in Nuka-World. These are community-wiki descriptions of game mechanics, not official Bethesda confirmation.

Because the result can depend on when a location is first generated, reaching level 28 before visiting is the safer approach. The reviewed information does not settle every edge case across game versions, add-ons, or mods.
Best base-game route: 35 Court
35 Court is an unmarked location in Boston’s Financial District. Its rooftop chamber contains a full power-armor set, making it the clearest base-game route for a complete X-01 suit when the level requirement is met.

- Find 35 Court in the Financial District and make your way to the rooftop chamber.
- Defeat the Assaultron and Sentry Bot guarding the area.
- Activate the controls in the rooms where those enemies are found. They open the central compartment containing the armor.
The available location descriptions do not give a dependable street-by-street route or coordinates. If you need navigation, use a map reference for 35 Court in the Financial District.
Other possible base-game locations
National Guard Training Yard
The Training Yard’s armory has a leveled power-armor suit behind a locked security gate. A possible full set may also be concealed in containers beyond a Master-locked room. Neither location is established as a guaranteed X-01 spawn at every level, so treat this as an alternative chance rather than a reliable full-set route.

Convoy near the Training Yard
A power-armor location list also identifies a convoy or trailer near the National Guard Training Yard. Its armor tier is level-dependent; the available information does not establish that it always contains X-01.

If you own the Nuka-World add-on, Starport Nuka in the Galactic Zone contains the unique Quantum X-01 variant. This is separate from the ordinary base-game full-set route. The Fallout Wiki reports that Nuka-World power-armor spawns start at level 28.
