Third-party guides also list several secondary routes: Unstable Space, weekly raid quests, the Honor Coin Store, a one-time Cassie exchange, and Trading Center chests. Those guides are dated October and November 2025, and caps, reward tables, and chest prices change between seasons, so treat each route below as a documented option to confirm in the game client before you plan around it.
What Throne (Pure Gold) is used for
Throne (Pure Gold) is a Far-Sea weapon crafting material. The official Season 2 update announcement on Steam, published by the Blue Protocol: Star Resonance team, states the crafting requirement directly:
“Adventurers can now craft these weapons directly using Glinting Stellar Core x100 and Throne (Pure Gold) x250.”
The same update says that dismantling a level 100 Far-Sea weapon returns those materials. This makes the item worth stockpiling if you plan to craft Far-Sea gear, since the direct recipe asks for 250 units per weapon.

Route notes
Nightmare Dragon Shackles
This is the clearest documented source. Guides for the Ice Dragon and Void Dragon (named in the guides as Rin-Izcorgicky and Bone-Xiolotl) include Throne (Pure Gold) in their Nightmare reward tables. A tradeable chest containing Throne (Pure Gold) is also reported as a possible Nightmare drop.

The Prydwen PvE guide places Dragon Shackles at Floating Island in the southwest of Asteria Plains and states one reward claim per raid. That guide covers Season 1. The official Season 2 announcement says new Dreambloom Ruins raids were to unlock starting in Season 2 Week 5, so a Season 1 raid list does not show the full current roster.
Throne (Gold) and Throne (Pure Gold) are different tiers
Throne (Pure Gold) and Throne (Gold) are separate items. The Maxroll Far Sea Weapon Guide describes a conversion between them rather than treating them as interchangeable. Cassie’s exchange is the only route in that guide that turns one into the other, and it is limited to one use. If you hold Throne (Gold) from another activity, check the exchange before assuming it counts toward the crafting total.

Unstable Space, weekly quests, and the Honor Coin Store
These are the most repeatable routes in the guides, but none of the sources gives a usable rate or cap for the current season. Unstable Space is labelled a rare drop. The weekly raid quest and the Honor Coin Store are described as weekly sources. Check the activity’s reward panel and the store inventory directly before counting on any of them.
Trading Center chests
The Maxroll guide says Throne (Pure Gold) Chests can be bought from the Trading Center and opened for the material. The chest price and weekly usage cap in that guide are not confirmed for October 2026, so compare current listings before buying.

Choosing a route
Four factors separate the routes:
- Whether the route requires Nightmare raid capability.
- Whether the source is a fixed or weekly reward or a random drop.
- Whether the route needs another currency or item for exchange, such as Throne (Gold) or Honor Coins.
- Whether a market chest is currently listed and affordable.
The sources do not give verified drop probabilities, so routes cannot be ranked by expected yield. Choose the route that fits your raid access and the exchange you can afford.

- Open the reward information for Dragon Shackles and confirm Throne (Pure Gold) appears in the Nightmare reward list.
- Check the Unstable Space and weekly raid quest rewards for the current week.
- Open the Honor Coin Store and note the weekly limit on Throne (Pure Gold).
- Open the Cassie exchange and confirm whether your one-time allowance is still available.
- Search the Trading Center for Throne (Pure Gold) Chests and compare the listed price with your budget.
Official Season 2 information confirms the crafting use and the 250-unit requirement. Route-level details in this article come from third-party guides dated 2025, so verify them against the live game before planning a large stockpile.
