Choose the upgrade that matches your current edition
GSC lists three upgrade routes: Standard to Deluxe, Standard to Ultimate, and Deluxe to Ultimate. Decide which extras you want, then choose the corresponding upgrade in your game-owning platform’s store. An upgrade unlocks content for your existing copy; it does not require a game update, according to GSC’s March 26, 2026 upgrade instructions.

What Deluxe adds
Deluxe includes a bonus side quest, six weapons, three named suits, a digital artbook, and the official soundtrack. Its weapons are the PTM “Monolith” pistol, AR416 “Monolith” rifle, Integral-A “Riemann” SMG, Lavina SA “Gabion” rifle, M701 “Hunter” sniper rifle, and M860 “Monolith” shotgun.
What Ultimate adds
Ultimate includes the Deluxe content plus four more weapons, the Ward exoskeleton “PSZ-21W Shturm,” and a Season Pass. The additional weapons are the Rhino “Model Competitor” revolver, Viper “Monolith” SMG, Fora-221 “Lullaby” rifle, and D12 “Margach D12MT” shotgun. GSC’s edition guide describes the Season Pass as covering two major expansions and future DLC access.

Buy the upgrade on the platform that owns your copy
- Check which platform storefront you use to play your copy of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2.
- Identify your current edition—Standard or Deluxe—and select the upgrade to the tier you want: Standard to Deluxe, Standard to Ultimate, or Deluxe to Ultimate.
- Open the matching platform store. GSC’s upgrade page provides routes for Steam, Xbox/Microsoft Store, Epic Games Store, GOG, and PlayStation.
- Check the listing for your region and confirm the price and availability before purchasing; prices vary by region.
- If you own a physical copy, look for the digital upgrade in the store for that platform. GSC says physical-copy owners can buy an upgrade, but each platform’s purchase is separate.
Do not assume an upgrade bought on one platform transfers to another. GSC explicitly says upgrades must be purchased separately on each platform, and its instructions do not provide a complete cross-platform entitlement matrix.

Deluxe and Ultimate upgrades should not be treated as a way to restore the original pre-order extras. GSC’s November 14, 2024 pre-order announcement says those bonuses were available only until the game’s release. The edition guide names the pre-order items as the Vintar Rifle “Veteran” modification, Sunrise suit “Tourist” modification, Stalker Backpack, and additional campfire stories and guitar melodies. The cited pages do not establish a current standalone unlock route for those specific bonuses.
