Unlock San d’Oria: The Second Walk by completing the Chronicles of a New Era quest Jeuno, then accepting Dreams of Paradise from the Landsguard Messenger in Tuliyollal (X:16.2, Y:3.9). You must also be level 100 on a Disciple of War or Magic and meet the duty’s average item level requirement of 725. Dawntrail registration is required for content designated as Dawntrail content.
What quest unlocks San d’Oria: The Second Walk?
The unlock quest is Dreams of Paradise. Square Enix’s Patch 7.3 notes state that you must first complete the Chronicles of a New Era quest Jeuno.
How to start Dreams of Paradise
- Complete the Chronicles of a New Era quest Jeuno.
- Switch to a level 100 Disciple of War or Magic.
- Travel to Tuliyollal and speak to the Landsguard Messenger at X:16.2, Y:3.9 to accept Dreams of Paradise.
- Meet the duty’s average item level requirement of 725, then register through Duty Finder.
The quest prerequisite is separate from the duty-entry requirements: completing Jeuno unlocks the quest, while your job level and average item level determine whether you can enter the raid.
What you need to enter the raid
- Job: Level 100 Disciple of War or Magic.
- Average item level: 725.
- Expansion: Dawntrail must be purchased and registered for content bearing the Dawntrail designation. The official Dawntrail Patch 7.3 page lists San d’Oria: The Second Walk under the Echoes of Vana’diel alliance raid series.
The official Eorzea Database duty listing also reports level 100, average item level 725, and a 120-minute time limit. Buying or registering Dawntrail does not replace the Jeuno prerequisite, accepting Dreams of Paradise, or meeting the duty’s level and item-level gates.
