Watch AHL games online through AHLTV on FloHockey, the platform named in the league’s official FAQ. But don’t assume every game is available in every location: check the specific game’s FloHockey event page or schedule before subscribing or making plans. FloHockey says an event unavailable where you are will be marked with a location notice.
Where can you watch AHL games online?
The AHL’s official FAQ directs viewers to AHLTV on FloHockey. The league’s September 12, 2024 announcement said the service would carry regular-season and Calder Cup Playoff games for all 32 teams beginning with the 2024–25 season.
That general coverage description does not guarantee that a particular game can be streamed from every location. FloHockey’s location-availability guidance says contractual geographic restrictions may make some streams or replays unavailable. The event listing is the practical check for the matchup you want.
How to check whether a game is available where you are
- Find the matchup on the AHL schedule or in FloHockey’s event listings.
- Open the event page from the location where you plan to watch. FloHockey says an unavailable stream or replay is identified with an “is not available in your location” notice on the event page or schedule.
- Check the event listing before subscribing or arranging to watch through another service; availability can depend on the specific event and location.
- If the page appears to show the wrong location, FloHockey advises checking whether VPN or proxy settings are enabled. This is troubleshooting for a possible location-detection error, not a way to bypass rights restrictions.
- For AHLTV account or viewing support, use FloHockey support; the AHL FAQ directs customers there.
Are AHL games subject to local blackouts?
FloHockey documents event-specific geographic restrictions, but the official guidance cited here does not establish a blanket rule that every game involving a local AHL team is blacked out. Nor does it provide a market-by-market blackout map or a general formula for determining which local games are restricted. Check the game listing from your viewing location rather than applying NHL blackout assumptions to AHLTV on FloHockey.
The AHL FAQ’s broad description of game coverage and FloHockey’s location caveat can both be true: the service is the league’s online destination, while a particular event may still be unavailable in a particular place.
Can you watch AHL games on TV or other services?
Some games or events may have separate TV coverage, so look for an official announcement for the specific matchup or series. For example, the AHL’s June 12, 2026 announcement said that year’s Calder Cup Finals would stream worldwide on AHLTV on FloHockey. It also listed Sportsnet 360 in Canada for Games 1 and 3–7, Sportsnet One in Canada for Game 2, and NHL Network in the United States for Games 3–7. Those were outlets for that completed Finals series, not a schedule for regular-season games or future playoffs.

FloSports’ September 17, 2026 announcement describes distribution of a 24/7 FloHockey channel through various partner services in the United States and Canada, and says that distribution is “without regional blackouts.” That statement concerns the broader channel distribution; it does not establish that those services carry every AHL game. For a specific matchup, rely on its event listing and any official broadcast announcement.
What devices can stream AHLTV on FloHockey?
The AHL and FloSports’ 2024 partnership announcement listed desktop and laptop computers, tablets, mobile devices, the FloSports app, Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Chromecast. FloHockey’s device support page is the better place to check current compatibility, particularly for a specific device model; the dated list is not a guarantee that every later model is supported.

Confirm the current subscription price, billing period, included content, and cancellation terms directly with FloHockey. If your main concern is one game, first verify that its event listing offers a stream in your location.
