The update directed eligible players to Mysterious Daoist · Yuanzhen in Qinghe – Harvestfall Village. The notice does not provide a minigame walkthrough or confirm whether Divination remains available in the current build.
Who could use Divination in Version 1.2?
The official Version 1.2 update overview identified the eligible players as Wanderers who had not yet joined a sect. The notice does not say that players who had already joined a sect could participate.
The feature was explicitly labeled a “Test Feature.” Version 1.2’s new content was scheduled to become available at 10 AM (UTC+8) on January 9, 2026; the official overview is dated January 8, 2026. Read the official Version 1.2 update overview.
Where is Yuanzhen for Divination?
For the documented Version 1.2 feature, visit Mysterious Daoist · Yuanzhen at Qinghe – Harvestfall Village. The update notice gives the NPC and location but does not provide map coordinates or more detailed directions.
What does Divination do?
Game8 describes Divination as a way to get recommendations about which sects players might consider. That is the guide’s description, not a detail spelled out in the official patch notes. The official notice confirms the sectless eligibility requirement but does not explain what a reading contains or how recommendations are determined.
Does the update explain how to complete Divination?
No. The official notes identify the eligible players and where to find the NPC, but do not document dialogue choices, interaction steps, a minigame sequence, or rewards. Those details should not be assumed from the brief update notice.

Is Divination still available?
The Version 1.2 notice is historical and calls Divination a test feature. It documents the feature’s planned access when that update’s new content launched, but does not establish whether it remains available in the October 2026 build or whether its requirements have changed. Check the current in-game version or a newer official notice for present-day availability.
