The Steam listing surfaced on October 4, 2026 gives these Windows requirements. It specifies 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 and DirectX 12 for both tiers, and recommends an SSD.

Both tiers list a 64-bit processor and operating system, DirectX 12 and broadband internet. Steam recommends an SSD. These are the Steam store figures surfaced on October 4, 2026; check the live Steam listing before installing in case they have changed.
Why an older official guide lists lower requirements
The official PC Launcher Installation Guide dated November 3, 2025 lists a different minimum: Core i7-4770K or Ryzen 5 2400G, 8 GB RAM, GTX 750 Ti, RX 550 or ARC A380, and 60 GB HDD space. Its recommended PC tier lists a Core i7-10700 or Ryzen 7 3700X, 32 GB RAM, RTX 2070 SUPER, RX 6700 XT or ARC A750, and 100 GB SSD space; its high tier lists a Core i7-12700K or Ryzen 9 5950X, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 or RX 6800 XT, and 100 GB SSD space. The same guide’s laptop minimum lists a Ryzen 7 5800HS or equivalent, MX450 or equivalent, 8 GB RAM and 60 GB HDD space.
The official guide’s FAQ also describes standard and quick download packages as needing over 100 GB and over 60 GB respectively. The guide warns that requirements may be adjusted, but the available listings do not explain why its figures differ from Steam’s. Do not assume the older, lower minimum applies to the Steam version. Confirm the current requirements and the selected client’s install size, and leave additional free space for updates.

Steam describes Where Winds Meet as an open-world action-adventure RPG set in ancient China. Its listing presents melee, ranged and stealth approaches alongside weapons including the sword, spear, dual blades, rope dart, bow, fan and umbrella. It also highlights martial and mystic skills such as Tai Chi, character customization, roles, factions and professions.
