Use the Fan for direct healing and Dew management, and the Umbrella for persistent support and team buffs. This setup prioritizes party sustain over solo clear speed; for solo progression, a Fan paired with a damage weapon is the more practical hybrid.
How the Fan and Umbrella healer build works
This is a support pairing, not two interchangeable healing weapons. The Panacea Fan supplies direct recovery and helps manage Dew, while the Soulshade Umbrella establishes a continuing support layer. The current build guide recommends both Deluge Martial Arts, and the Version 2.2 build planner independently lists the pairing for Silkbind – Deluge.
The distinction matters when choosing a build: this pair is designed around keeping a group sustained, not maximizing personal damage. It fits group PvE most naturally. A Fan plus a learned damage weapon better suits solo progression, where the pure support pairing gives up clear speed. Do not assume the same recovery in Arena; the current guide says healing is reduced there and pressure is faster.

Weapons and Martial Arts
Equip the Panacea Fan and Soulshade Umbrella, and make sure you have equipped both corresponding Deluge Martial Arts. The Fan handles direct healing and Dew; the Umbrella provides persistent support.

Healing rotation and positioning
- Prepare with the Umbrella. Cast Floating Grace, then activate Echoes of a Thousand Plants before swapping to the Panacea Fan. Aim to have the Umbrella support effect active before the group takes expected damage.
- Place area healing for the mechanic. Use Cloudburst Healing where allies are likely to stand, taking the encounter’s movement and spread requirements into account.
- Use calmer windows to rebuild. Fan heavy attacks can rebuild Dew and provide recovery. Avoid spending every cooldown just because it is available.
- Save the emergency recovery. Reserve Light Dust After Morning Rain for a low ally or a revival. The current guide warns that an immediate recast overwrites the healing effect rather than stacking it, so check the target and situation before using it again.
- Reset after the emergency. Rebuild Dew and refresh Umbrella uptime. Move early when a forced-spread mechanic is coming: range and positioning determine whether your healing reaches the party.
What changed in the official Version 1.7 balance update
The official Version 1.7 Path Balance Adjustment Announcement, dated May 26, 2026, lists several changes relevant to this build. Floating Grace’s damage boost becomes 24% when Panacea Fan is also equipped. The announcement also extends Restoring Blossom’s Nurturing duration from 3 to 6 seconds at Tier 0 and from 6 to 10 seconds at Tier 1; its Concentration duration at Tier 3 changes from 6 to 10 seconds. Esoteric Revival also gains healing over time for both the revived target and the healer when it revives a target. These are Version 1.7 figures, not a guarantee of the current tooltip after later updates; check the in-game description for the live value.

Choose the build for the content
| Build choice | Best fit | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Panacea Fan + Soulshade Umbrella (Silkbind – Deluge) | Group PvE where sustained healing and team support are valuable | Less personal damage and slower solo clears; healing placement and group positioning matter |
| Panacea Fan + damage weapon | Solo progression or situations where personal clear speed matters more | Trades away the Umbrella’s persistent support layer |
Within the group-support setup, keep the recommended Inner Way core for regular healing, or use Esoteric Revival when the group specifically values revival support. Encounters that keep allies together make placed area healing easier to use; forced spread makes proactive movement and range awareness more important.
