What Level 86 gear preparation should accomplish
Think of Tier 86 as a possible bridge to Tier 91 rather than an automatic endgame target. The official April 28, 2026 gear update says Relaying Stone: Vanguard converts eligible non-retroactive Tier 86 gear into Tier 91 Relaid Gear. Eligibility matters: do not assume every Tier 86 item qualifies. Check the item and conversion options in your current interface before deciding whether to keep, replace, or invest in it.

When comparing a Tier 86 item with a replacement, weigh whether it is eligible for relaying, whether its set and attuning attributes suit your build, and what resources you want to commit to the resulting Tier 91 item. The update establishes the conversion, but not a universally best item or gear choice.
How to prioritize the Season Shop
Consider Relaying Stone: Vanguard only if it fits your plan
If you plan to carry eligible Tier 86 gear forward, Relaying Stone: Vanguard is a relevant item to look for. The official update lists the Season Shop as one possible source, alongside Solo Mode level breakthroughs and Engagement Realm rewards. It is not described as shop-exclusive.

Compare the shop with the other listed sources
Check which source is available to you and compare its cost and effort with the Season Shop option. The April announcement does not establish a live shop stock, stone price, purchase quantity, weekly limit, or reset schedule. Review your current shop screen and available currency before committing.
Do not rely on a fixed buy order
The available handbook index identifies Jade Fish in connection with Season Shop priorities, but does not provide current item costs or a complete purchase ranking. Prioritize according to your intended gear, materials already owned, and the limits shown in your own shop—not a universal order that may no longer match the live season.

What changes after Tier 86 gear is relayed
Relayed Tier 91 gear uses Modulating rather than Tuning or Retuning, according to the official gear update. Treat that as a separate development system when planning resources; ordinary tuning advice should not be assumed to apply to the converted item.
How to plan gathering without relying on unverified routes
There is not enough verified location detail here to name a current “best” gathering loop, node cluster, or coordinate. Use the official interactive map to inspect available pins, then confirm the material and region in-game. Plan around the specific resource your recipe or gear goal needs, and recheck pins against the current map rather than treating broad route frameworks as confirmed locations.

One conditional gathering bonus: Qinchuan in Breeze form
The official May 27, 2026 patch notes say the Tier 6 General Inner Way Sandswirl Tail gives a chance to obtain double gathering rewards in Qinchuan while you are in Breeze form. This is a conditional bonus, not evidence of a best route, and it does not establish a bonus for every material or region.

Guides published before the April 28 gear update may recommend saving all-tier tuning stones for Level 86 or pre-farming particular bow materials such as timber and beef tendon. Those are dated recommendations, not a confirmed current shopping or gathering checklist. Verify present recipes, item requirements, and gear eligibility in-game before farming or spending resources around them.
