At the launch of Fortnite: Battle Royale Chapter 5, Season 4, three bosses guarded Medallions and Mythic weapons: Doombot at Castle Doom, Mysterio at Doomstadt, and Emma Frost at The Raft. Doombot dropped two Mythic weapons; the other bosses each dropped one. This is a launch-period guide, not a record of every later change to the season’s loot pool.
Boss locations and drops at launch
| Boss | Location | Mythic drop(s) | Medallion and effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Doombot | Throne room, Castle Doom | Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets; Mythic Monarch Pistol | Siphon Medallion: grants Health and Shield Siphon when you eliminate opponents. |
| Mysterio | Doomstadt | Mythic Sovereign Shotgun | Stealth Medallion: grants temporary invisibility while crouched. |
| Emma Frost | The Raft | Mythic Striker Burst Rifle | Reveal Medallion: occasionally reveals nearby enemies’ locations. |
Epic’s August 16, 2024 season announcement lists these boss locations and rewards. The season’s Battle Pass could be progressed until November 2, 2024, at 2 AM ET, so these details describe the launch snapshot rather than a current-season guarantee.

What each Medallion does—and its trade-off
Siphon Medallion
Defeating opponents with Doombot’s Medallion gives you Health and Shield through siphon. Its value depends on getting eliminations, so it rewards an aggressive approach rather than providing the same benefit passively.
Stealth Medallion
Mysterio’s Medallion makes you temporarily invisible while crouching. It can help you move or reposition more discreetly, but the invisibility is temporary.

Reveal Medallion
Emma Frost’s Medallion occasionally reveals the locations of nearby enemies, offering information that can help you plan a fight.
There is a visibility cost to carrying any Medallion: a contemporaneous Gameranx boss guide published August 16, 2024 reported that a Medallion holder’s location appears on the map for the whole lobby. That exposure can make the reward a trade-off, particularly if you want to avoid drawing other players toward you.

Are these all the Mythics from the launch pool?
No. These are the Mythics dropped by the three named bosses. The launch pool also included Gwenpool’s Dual Micro SMGs, which players obtained by rescuing Gwenpool at The Raft—not by defeating a fourth boss. The Gameranx launch Mythic guide lists those SMGs separately and notes that the loot pool could change during the season.

- Choose a target: Go to Castle Doom for two Mythic weapons and the Siphon Medallion, Doomstadt for Mysterio’s shotgun and Stealth Medallion, or The Raft for Emma Frost’s rifle and Reveal Medallion.
- Plan around the effect: Pick the reward that suits your approach—elimination-based siphon, crouched invisibility, or occasional enemy-location reveals.
- Account for exposure: If you take a Medallion, remember the contemporaneous guide’s report that carrying one reveals your position to the lobby.
Epic published the season announcement on August 16, 2024. The available launch-period information establishes these original locations and drops, but not a complete history of later balance or content updates.
