The source reports rewards including Intelligence, Echo Jade, Commerce Coins, Kaifeng Exploration, EXP, and standard Coin. Liang Rongfu’s row instead lists Resolve +7 rather than Intelligence +5. A multiplayer “Collaboration” reward called Adventure Slip is also mentioned for many NPCs.
Why your NPC may not be where the table says
LootBar gives a substantially different roster and places several shared names in different areas. It also describes conditional encounters:
- Zhang Jiu and Kutuluk: Granary of Plenty.
- Shi Lei, Li Rouzhu, and Peng Shizhi: Jadewood Court.
- Tao Xiaoxiao, Wang Xiaosan, and Chan Yi: Kaifeng City.
- He Qiu: Western Gate of Kaifeng at sunrise; examine the map table, then ask about changing borders.
- Madam Qiao: Riverside Teahouse at night; sit in an empty seat before speaking.
- Monastery Bell NPC: Monastery in clear weather; bow first, then ask about the silent bell.
- Scholar Liu Wen: Kaifeng Examination Hall steps in the evening; the guide adds a failed-exam quest condition and says to choose “doubt.”
- Scholar Shen: Qingxi Canal stone bridge in Jiangnan in the late afternoon; comment on the reflections rather than the bridge.
Because these entries conflict with the AllThings.how table, use them as alternate leads rather than combining both lists into a definitive map.

No supplied source confirms a precise current menu path, button label, keyboard shortcut, controller command, or special text syntax; normal solving is described as typed text entry.
Troubleshooting
- The NPC offers no riddle: check your Intelligence, time of day, weather, seating, required prior dialogue, and interaction order. These conditions are reported for some encounters, not proven for every NPC.
