The list included Red Dead Redemption 2, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – Definitive Edition, and four Kingdom Hearts entries. The count refers to 18 listed game entries, not 18 franchises or 18 separate platform versions. Push Square’s report is the source for the list, platforms, and reported date; the available evidence does not establish that Sony published this exact departure list as an official announcement.
When were the games scheduled to leave?
The report gave November 18, 2024 as the scheduled departure date for PS Plus Extra and Premium. It should be read as the reported schedule, not proof that every title disappeared at precisely the same time in every country or region. Sony says catalog availability can vary by country or region, plan, and time.

What happens when a catalog game leaves?
PlayStation Plus catalog access is tied to the relevant membership plan. Sony’s current FAQ says: “The Game Catalog and Classics Catalog will also be available to members of their corresponding membership plan, but some games may have an end date when they will be removed from the PlayStation Plus service.” Downloading a catalog game does not, by itself, preserve catalog access after its end date. See Sony’s PlayStation Plus FAQ for current policy; availability and terms can vary by region and may change over time.
Were these the games Sony announced for November?
No. Sony’s November 13, 2024 blog post announced incoming games, which it said would be available from November 19. It named five Premium arrivals: Synapse, Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, Blood Omen 2, Resistance: Fall of Man, and Resistance 2. That additions announcement is separate from the October report about departures. Sony’s November 2024 announcement also listed games available from November 19; it does not confirm the outgoing list.

What should players do if they were in the middle of one?
If you were playing one of the listed titles, the useful question was whether you wanted to finish it before the reported date or keep access afterward. Prioritize games you had already started or most wanted to play; if you wanted to continue after catalog access ended, check the exact standalone edition for your console and region. The departure report does not establish current prices, physical availability, or store stock.
