For most crews, The Big Con is the best all-round approach if you can use the Gruppe Sechs entry disguise and coordinate the escape. It lets you infiltrate through deception and limits direct conflict before the getaway. Choose Silent & Sneaky if your crew is reliable at stealth and timing; choose Aggressive if you would rather fight than manage a stealth route.
How the three approaches compare
| Approach | How it works | Best fit | Main trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Big Con | Use disguises and deception to get inside with little direct conflict until the escape. | A crew looking for a manageable route with limited early exposure to combat. | You need a suitable disguise entry, such as Gruppe Sechs, and a coordinated escape. Rockstar describes the approach as posing as contractors or maintenance staff; GTA BOOM’s maintained guide identifies Gruppe Sechs as an entry option. |
| Silent & Sneaky | Bypass security and try to avoid triggering an alarm. | A crew comfortable coordinating stealth actions and timing. | A detection or coordination mistake can undermine the advantage of avoiding a loud entry. Rockstar’s description is an intended approach style, not a guarantee that a run will remain undetected. |
| Aggressive | Enter with heavy force and fight through increased resistance. | A crew that prefers direct combat to stealth execution. | More exposure to incoming fire can damage the carried loot and reduce the amount kept. |
The qualitative comparison reflects the approaches’ descriptions and the maintained payout guide; it is not a measured route-time ranking. Rockstar’s announcement characterizes Silent & Sneaky as an attempt to enter undetected, describes The Big Con’s disguises, and warns that Aggressive crews should expect increased resistance. Read Rockstar’s announcement.
Why The Big Con is the practical default
The Big Con is a strong general choice when the crew can complete the disguise entry cleanly: deception reduces direct conflict during infiltration, while the crew still needs to work together on the escape. Gruppe Sechs is one of the listed entry disguise options, not an unconditional benefit; the recommendation depends on having that route available and executing it effectively.
Rockstar’s promotional description says, “Choose Silent & Sneaky to enter undetected and try to make off with the haul before they even know what hit them.” The words “try to” matter: stealth is the plan, not a promise of a clean run. The same announcement says Aggressive players should be prepared for increased resistance.

Choose based on your crew
Pick The Big Con if
- Your crew can use a disguise entry such as Gruppe Sechs.
- You want to avoid a direct fight for as much of the infiltration as possible.
- Your team can coordinate the getaway rather than treating the disguise as a complete solution.
Pick Silent & Sneaky if
- Your players can coordinate stealth actions and timing reliably.
- You prefer avoiding an alarm to absorbing combat pressure.
- Your crew accepts that a mistake can compromise the stealth advantage.
Pick Aggressive if
- Your crew would rather handle direct combat than rely on stealth timing or disguise execution.
- You accept the risk that incoming fire can reduce the carried take.
The finale is for two to four players, according to GTA BOOM’s maintained guide; it is not a solo finale.
What determines the payout
The approach does not set the vault’s headline value by itself. The target, difficulty, crew cuts, damage to the haul, and the host’s weekly completion reward state all affect the result. Rockstar’s Title Update 1.73 notes confirm a weekly completion bonus for the Diamond Casino Heist Finale: it applies to the first qualifying finale in the period, with reduced rewards for later completions by the same host that week.

GTA BOOM lists the following normal repeat-run vault values before crew cuts and take loss. These are secondary-guide figures, not an official Rockstar payout table; payout availability and amounts can change with game updates and events.
| Vault target | Normal repeat-run value before cuts and damage |
|---|---|
| Cash | GTA$1,480,500 |
| Artwork | GTA$1,645,000 |
| Gold | GTA$1,809,500 |
| Diamonds | GTA$2,303,000 |
GTA BOOM’s payout guide also reports higher values for a first completion after a reset and says Hard Mode increases the potential take by 10%. Those figures depend on the guide’s stated conditions; they should not be treated as guaranteed net payouts. The listed target values are before crew cuts and any loss from damage.
