If they don’t, use the latest 32-bit build, 4.1.143.90. Both were announced on May 24, 2026. Nothing available shows that either build runs faster or more stably than the other on a given machine, so the choice comes down to compatibility and whether your installed build is current.
Choose the build by architecture first
GameLoop publishes two separate client lines, one 32-bit and one 64-bit. The version you should pick depends on which architecture your computer and game can use, not on which number looks higher.
- Check that your game supports 64-bit. If the game and your Windows setup both work with the 64-bit client, install the 64-bit build, 5.1.153.90.
- Fall back to 32-bit if you can’t confirm 64-bit support. Use 4.1.143.90 when the 64-bit path is unavailable for your system or game, or when you are unsure.
- Verify what you installed. Open GameLoop’s menu, go to Settings, then About, and confirm the build. The displayed version identifies whether you are running the 32-bit or 64-bit client.
- Update within your chosen line. Compare your installed build only against the latest build for the same architecture.
The sources reviewed do not publish a compatibility matrix for GameLoop, operating system editions, or individual titles. Treat step 1 as a check you need to make yourself against the game’s own support information.
Why higher version numbers don’t settle the question
The two lines use different numbering, so comparing 4.x with 5.x tells you nothing about which is newer or better. The independent GameLoop.blog report that tracks these builds lists three dated release pairs:

The 64-bit number actually went down between the 2024 and 2025 announcements, from 5.1.155.90 to 5.1.152.90. That’s why the highest number in the list, 5.1.155.90, is not the latest 64-bit build. Use the announcement date, and compare only within the same architecture line.
The May 2026 pair also comes with separate UI component numbers reported by the same source: 3.21.5371.80 for the 32-bit client and 3.91.5372.81 for the 64-bit client. These describe the interface components, not the client build you pick.

What the May 2026 update contains
The release note reproduced by GameLoop.blog reads: “Updated the security components for [PUBG Mobile]; fixed other known issues.” The update is therefore mainly a security-component refresh for PUBG Mobile plus unspecified fixes. The note does not list changes to performance or to other games.
Two points about sourcing. GameLoop.blog says it is not affiliated with Tencent and attributes the note to GameLoop’s social announcement. The linked social post could not be opened when the report was checked, so the wording is confirmed only through that independent report. The official GameLoop homepage presents the product as an Android gaming platform and lists games including Call of Duty: Mobile, but it does not display a build number or changelog.

Performance and FPS claims
If you searched “which gives more FPS,” there is no published comparison that names a winner between these builds. The independent report says it does not run installation or performance tests on its own hardware, and no reproducible same-system benchmark of these builds was found. Any claim that one build gives higher FPS, lower CPU use, or fewer crashes on low-end PCs is unverified.
If you want to answer the question for your own machine, change one variable at a time: keep the same game, graphics settings, and background apps, then compare frame rates and stability on each build over several sessions. Record the results with the build number from Settings, then About.

Troubleshooting: when the build choice is not the problem
- The 64-bit build won’t install or launch. Switch to 32-bit 4.1.143.90 and verify it in Settings, then About.
- Your installed build is from before May 2026. Your client is behind the latest build documented here for its line. Update it through GameLoop, then confirm the new number.
- Your installed build shows a newer number than 4.1.143.90 or 5.1.153.90. GameLoop may have released builds after the May 24, 2026 announcement that the sources reviewed did not cover. Use that newer build if it matches your architecture, and check the latest status through GameLoop’s official channels.
- A game fails after updating. The reported May 2026 change concerns PUBG Mobile security components. If PUBG Mobile is the affected game, the update is the likely reason; if another game fails, the note gives no evidence that the update caused it.
In short, pick the architecture your system and game support, then keep that line current. The build number helps you check that, but it does not measure performance.
