Pull the middle lever first. In God of War (2018)’s Tyr’s Vault puzzle in “The Black Rune,” the reported sequence is middle, left, middle, right, left, middle, right. The target symbols should read Moon, Midgard, Sun from left to right.

This puzzle occurs in Tyr’s Vault during “The Black Rune,” after Kratos is caught in the vine trap and control switches to Atreus. He can read the glyph clue, which points to the required arrangement: Moon on the left, Midgard in the center, and Sun on the right. The imagery depicts Sköll and Hati pursuing the sun and moon. Twinfinite’s walkthrough and Selphie1999Gaming’s walkthrough give the same seven-pull order.

Check the symbols if your puzzle is already in progress
If you have already pulled a lever, do not assume the sequence will work from your current board state. Use the visible arrangement as your check: the goal is Moon–Midgard–Sun from left to right. A 2018 GameFAQs walkthrough lists a different six-pull order, so the seven-pull sequence above is the clearest agreement between the two walkthroughs that match.
What happens after the correct arrangement
When the symbols reach Moon–Midgard–Sun, the vines release Kratos and reveal the rune stone. When prompted, have Atreus use Faye’s knife to stop the mechanism.
