In Fortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 4 story, Doctor Doom has defeated the Fantastic Four, Ultron, Namor, Moon Knight, Thanos, Doctor Strange, Silver Surfer, Magneto, and Galactus, according to the fan-maintained Fortnite Wiki’s “Kingdom of Doom” summary. Epic’s official season overview confirms Doom’s rise and the heroes who oppose him, but does not publish that full list of past victories.
Who does the Fortnite story say Doom defeated?
The Fortnite Wiki’s fan-maintained “Kingdom of Doom” story summary names these characters and team members as opponents Doom defeated:
- The Fantastic Four: Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and the Thing.
- Ultron
- Namor
- Moon Knight
- Thanos
- Doctor Strange
- Silver Surfer
- Magneto
- Galactus
This is a substantial roster, but its provenance matters: it comes from a fan-maintained story summary, not an official Epic character-by-character tally. Treat it as the Wiki’s account of the season narrative rather than a complete list independently confirmed by Epic.
What does Epic officially establish about the season?
Epic’s August 16, 2024 Absolute Doom overview sets up Doom’s takeover: he harnesses the power of Pandora’s Box, establishes his Latverian kingdom on the Battle Royale Island, and brings henchmen with him. The announcement frames the season as a conflict, declaring, “Doctor Doom and his lieutenants must be defeated!”

Epic names War Machine, Gwenpool, Shuri, Captain Jones, and Peelverine among those opposing Doom. The season also features Castle Doom, Doomstadt, and The Raft. Doombot, Mysterio, and Emma Frost are presented as opponents tied to Mythic items and medallions. Those details establish the island setting and its defenders; they do not confirm the full list of characters Doom had already beaten.
Are those defeats the same as winning against players in Fortnite?
No. The roster above refers to events as recounted in the season story summary. A player eliminating another player in Battle Royale—or defeating an opponent in a limited-time mode—is a match outcome, not automatically a new canonical victory for Doom.

Epic’s separate Day of Doom announcement, dated September 17, 2024, describes a limited-time team mode with up to 32 players. Doom’s Henchmen attempt to collect six Arcane Artifacts and then eliminate the Avengers; the Avengers try to stop the collection and exhaust the henchmen’s shared reinforcements. “Doom’s Chosen” is a player role in that mode. These are game objectives and match mechanics, distinct from the season story’s account of past defeats. Epic said the mode would remain in Discover until October 4, 2024 at 9 a.m. ET, so that date describes its announced 2024 run, not present-day availability.
