No Overcooked game is free to keep on the storefronts checked for this article. Epic’s Free Games page did not list an Overcooked title as a current giveaway, and the Epic store listings for Overcooked! and Overcooked! 2 are paid Windows games. The one route to Overcooked without a separate purchase is PlayStation Plus Extra, which includes Overcooked! All You Can Eat on PS4 and PS5 only while you keep the subscription.
What “free” can mean for Overcooked
The phrase covers three different situations, and only one of them gives you a game you keep:

- A limited-time giveaway you can claim. Epic runs a weekly free game promotion, and each giveaway rotates. Claimed games are retained under the platform’s terms, but a giveaway only lasts for its promotion window.
- A free-to-play game. Nothing in the Overcooked lineup is sold this way on the sources checked.
- Access included with a subscription. This is catalog access. It ends when the subscription ends, and the catalog can change.
A discounted Overcooked game is still a paid game. A sale tag does not make it free.
Current status by storefront
| Title | Store and platform | Price or access status | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Overcooked! | Epic Games Store, Windows | Paid base game. Not listed as a current giveaway on Epic’s Free Games page. | Epic Games Store: Overcooked! |
| Overcooked! 2 | Epic Games Store, Windows | Paid base game. The listing showed a time-limited sale with an end date, so it was discounted, not free. | Epic Games Store: Overcooked! 2 |
| Overcooked! All You Can Eat | Team17’s official edition page | Combined edition of Overcooked! and Overcooked! 2 and their additional content. Price not stated on the page used. | Team17: Overcooked! All You Can Eat |
| Overcooked! All You Can Eat | PlayStation Store, PS4 and PS5 | Available through PlayStation Plus Extra catalog access. Standalone purchase price not stated on the page used. | PlayStation: Overcooked! All You Can Eat |
The PlayStation subscription route
On PS4 and PS5, Overcooked! All You Can Eat is listed with PlayStation Plus Extra access. Readers who already hold that subscription can play the edition at no extra cost while the title remains in the catalog. Once the subscription lapses or the title leaves the catalog, the game is no longer available through that route. Treat it as a rental of catalog access, not a free copy.

How to check for a current offer
- Open the Epic Games Store Free Games page and look for any Overcooked title in the current promotions.
- If you use Epic’s own help documentation, its guide to free game promotions confirms that the Free Games page is where Epic lists its promotions.
- On a PlayStation console or in your regional PlayStation Store, open the PlayStation listing for Overcooked! All You Can Eat and check whether it carries a PlayStation Plus Extra badge for your account.
- For any other platform or region, check that storefront directly. The sources behind this article do not cover them.
Limits of this check
The Epic Free Games page did not show an Overcooked title as a current giveaway at the time it was checked, and the page itself does not state a date. Offers, sale end dates, and subscription catalogs change often, so confirm the live listing before you act. A result for Windows through Epic, or for PS4 and PS5 through PlayStation Plus Extra, does not describe Xbox, Nintendo Switch, or other regions.
The official pages do not show a game that is free to keep. If you want to own Overcooked, the cheapest verifiable path is the paid edition listed on the storefront you use.

All quotations on this page come from official text: Epic’s Free Games page says it offers “a free game every week,” which describes a recurring promotion rather than a standing offer for Overcooked.
The combined Overcooked! All You Can Eat edition is the most complete option, since it includes both base games and their additional content in one purchase.
