Why the game version matters
Cynthia is a Sinnoh character who investigates Pokémon myths. The official Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl story page places her in the player’s journey and describes the Pokémon League as the challenge against the Elite Four and Champion for the title of Champion. Those remakes revisit the Sinnoh adventure from the Nintendo DS Diamond and Pearl games as Nintendo Switch role-playing games, according to The Pokémon Company’s game page.
