Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?

Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallIf you want a current, power-focused C1 recommendation among the characters covered here, consider Wriothesley—especially if he is already part of your roster and teams. His first Constellation changes how his Gracious Rebuke effect works and boosts the payoff of Rebuke: Vaulting Fist. That makes him a defensible pick, not a proven universal winner: the best C1 for you depends on whom you play, your teams, and whether you value damage, comfort, or utility.
Why Wriothesley is a strong conditional pick
HoYoWiki’s description of Wriothesley’s C1 specifies changes to both access to Gracious Rebuke and the reward for using Rebuke: Vaulting Fist. The Constellation raises that attack’s DMG Bonus to 200%; hitting an opponent during Chilling Penalty also extends the state by four seconds, once per duration. These mechanics can change his rotation and its payoff, which is why his C1 merits consideration if you already play him.
Those kit changes do not prove that Wriothesley deals more damage than every other C1 character in every team or game mode. The available sources do not provide a standardized cross-character damage comparison.
How Version 7.0 affects the comparison
HoYoWiki identifies Stellar Swirl as a Version 7.0 reaction, describing a vortex effect and a Radiance: Stellar Swirl state that enhances certain characters’ talents and skills. GamesRadar has called Wriothesley a strong early-Constellation choice in the context of reaction-related changes. Treat that as contextual editorial judgment, not a controlled ranking: new mechanics can make older constellation lists less relevant, but they do not establish a universal best C1.

How to choose the right C1 for your account
Instead of choosing by a general ranking, compare what each eligible C1 would change for the character you actually use.
- Damage and rotation: Does the Constellation improve an attack, change how often a key effect is available, or make the character’s usual rotation work better?
- Comfort: Would it ease stamina or energy demands, or make the character smoother to play? A comfort upgrade may matter more to you than a damage-focused one.
- Team fit: Consider whether the character works with supports you own and the teams you already use.
- How often you play them: An upgrade has more practical value when it benefits a character you regularly bring into play.
- Selector eligibility: Confirm that the character can be selected in the current event and that you meet its ownership and cycle rules.
Cyno is another character worth evaluating if you play him. HoYoverse’s official character reference is a place to verify his Constellation descriptions, but the evidence available here does not show that his C1—or any other alternative—outranks Wriothesley’s. Compare the effect and its fit with your teams rather than assuming all C1 upgrades offer the same kind of value.

A Version 7.0 report lists Lyney, Wriothesley, Navia, Xianyun, Chiori, Sigewinne, Clorinde, Emilie, and Yumemizuki Mizuki in the selector. If you already play Wriothesley and want a power-oriented upgrade, his C1 is a defensible choice because it changes the conditions and payoff of key parts of his kit. If you prefer another character or value comfort more, choose the eligible C1 that most improves the rotations and teams you actually use. There is no sourced basis here for declaring one option best for every account.
