Who loves daffodils?
Sandy is the only villager who loves a daffodil. Her character page records her reaction: “Oh, wow! Nothing says ‘spring’ like a Stardew Valley daffodil!” (Sandy’s villager page.)
How many friendship points does a daffodil give?
On an ordinary day, a normal-quality liked gift earns 45 friendship points, while a normal-quality loved gift earns 80. That makes a daffodil more valuable to Sandy than to one of the villagers who merely likes it. Birthday gifts multiply the gift’s points by eight, and a Winter Star gift multiplies them by five, according to the friendship mechanics guide.

Silver, gold, and iridium quality increase points for liked and loved gifts. The guide notes that a normal-quality loved gift still beats an iridium-quality liked gift on an ordinary day.
When can you find daffodils?
Daffodils are spring forage. You can also grow them from Spring Seeds or find them in garbage cans during spring. The wiki lists limited seasonal-event purchases: up to 10 from Pierre at the Flower Dance for 50g each, or up to five from Evelyn’s Desert Festival shop for 15 Calico Eggs each (daffodil availability).

How to gift one without wasting it
- Give it to Sandy for her loved reaction, or to any of the 14 villagers in the Likes row.
- Check a recipient’s reaction before giving a daffodil if friendship matters; neutral and negative reactions do not earn the same points as a liked gift.
- The Social tab’s gift log records preferences you have learned in play. A villager can receive one gift per day and up to two per week; a birthday gift is still allowed after the weekly limit is reached.
