The available examples are two editorial wishlists published in February 2025 and a Reddit roster discussion—not a measured ranking of fan opinion. Those lists offer a useful starting point, but a suggested name is not confirmation of an addition.
What the published wishlists tell us—and what they don’t
Take-Two’s January 2025 launch announcement described WWE 2K25 as featuring “over 300 playable characters” and said the Standard Edition would release on March 14, 2025. That is launch-announcement-era information, not an independently audited current roster count. Take-Two’s announcement provides launch context, but it does not establish which names are available in the game now.

ComicBook.com and ESPN each published their own DLC wishlists in February 2025. They reflect the writers’ selections and reasoning, not a poll. A Reddit thread titled “Omissions and New Additions to 2K25’s roster” also shows that players discuss who they want to see, but the surfaced discussion does not show how widely any preference is shared.
Current and emerging WWE talent
Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and Zaria
Matthew Aguilar’s February 17, 2025 ComicBook.com wishlist included Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and Zaria. ESPN’s February 28 wishlist also included all three. Their appearances on both editorial lists make them clear examples of names those outlets wanted—not proof they were the most-requested wrestlers among players.
#1 Best Overall
- Epic exploration comes to WWE 2K25 on The Island (PS5 and Xbox Series X only). Celebrate The Bloodline in Showcase. Compete online in MyGM. Intergender wrestling, barricade diving + more!
- RULE BEYOND THE RING- In a franchise first, step outside the ropes and onto The Island for PS5 and Xbox Series X —an immersive, WWE-themed world filled with epic arenas, challenges, and live events. Fight to join the Bloodline with “The Original Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns, as you upgrade and customize your MySUPERSTAR through multiple storyline chapters.
- 2K SHOWCASE: THE BLOODLINE'S DYNASTY- The all-new Showcase, hosted by “The Wiseman” Paul Heyman, celebrates one of the most historic family dynasties in wrestling. Relive legendary showdowns or dream matches between The Bloodline and WWE Superstars and Legends.
- EXPANDED GAMEPLAY- Intergender wrestling makes its long-awaited debut in the WWE 2K franchise! Additional features include the return of chain wrestling, Underground and Bloodline Rules match types, barricade diving, and more.
- MyGM GOES WORLDWIDE- Take your show on the road with MyGM, now featuring online multiplayer. Draft WWE Superstars and Legends to your show’s roster and lead your brand through multi-week seasons.
The timing rationale matters: both lists were published around the game’s launch and DLC rollout, and the writers considered recent debuts and roster-story relevance. Those were contemporary arguments for the wishlist, not evidence about the game’s roster or DLC state today.
Jordynne Grace
Both ComicBook.com and ESPN named Jordynne Grace. ComicBook.com’s article discussed timing and practical constraints around adding recently arrived talent. ESPN included her among its own DLC picks. Neither article confirmed that she would be added.

Crossover and tag-team requests
Penta, Ricky Starks, and Joe Hendry
ComicBook.com’s February 17 list included Penta, Ricky Starks, and Joe Hendry. The article considered how debut timing and rights or development constraints could complicate inclusion; it specifically raised Hendry’s TNA contract as a potential complication. These were the writer’s observations at the time, not a current account of contractual status or a prediction that any of the three would appear.

ESPN’s February 28 wishlist also named Penta. Its overlap with ComicBook.com is worth noting as overlap between two outlet lists, not as a fan-vote result.

Motor City Machine Guns
ESPN’s writers requested the Motor City Machine Guns—Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin—citing recent WWE debuts and roster-story relevance among the reasons behind the list. Their inclusion was ESPN’s editorial choice; the article did not report a survey or confirm a DLC plan.
Legends and nostalgia picks
Goldberg, Jesse Ventura, and Brian Pillman
ESPN’s February 28 wishlist added Goldberg, Jesse “The Body” Ventura, and Brian Pillman. Its list included a possible legends angle alongside recent-debut picks. That explains the outlet’s mix of names, but it should not be read as confirmation of a planned legends pack or of any wrestler’s current availability in WWE 2K25.

- YOUR UNIVERSE, YOUR WAY New upgrades give greater control over your Universe experience featuring commentary-driven promos with new cutscenes, branching choices, and multiple outcomes.
- A UNIFIED MyRISE Take control of your Superstar from the women’s or men’s divisions in a singular multi-gender MyRISE storyline where Bayley, Kevin Owens, and other Superstars infiltrate NXT in an attempt to take control of the entire WWE universe. Featuring new brawl environments, unlockable arenas, characters, and more—plus new ally storylines involving Jey Uso, Bianca Belair, and other WWE Superstars.
The Bella Twins
ESPN also named Nikki and Brie Bella. Their inclusion was part of the same editorial wishlist; the article did not present them as the result of a popularity ranking.
Who would you like to see join the roster?
If you’re weighing in, say which wrestler you’d add and why: a recent arrival, an NXT name, a crossover pick, or a legend you want to play. You can also distinguish between a dream roster addition and a realistic DLC request. Neither the two February 2025 wishlists nor the surfaced Reddit discussion establishes a broader fan consensus, and a wishlist is not an announcement.
