Its creator can enforce custom rules for that experience; Roblox says an experience ban is not necessarily a Roblox account-level restriction. Check the wording of the message, then follow the appeal route for whoever issued the action.
Why can I play some Roblox games but not others?
Roblox calls its games “experiences.” An experience creator can set and enforce additional rules for that experience, as long as those rules do not conflict with Roblox’s Terms of Use or Community Standards. That means a creator may block your access to one experience while you can still use other experiences and Roblox features. Roblox identifies Error Code 600 as a creator-issued experience ban and says: “This ban is not issued by Roblox.”
Roblox moderation is a separate process. The platform can take action against content or an account for Community Standards violations; consequences may include warnings, content removal, or account-level restrictions. Roblox says it considers the specific violation and a user’s history, including repeated violations. Those general rules do not establish why a particular player was banned.
How to tell who issued the ban

Roblox’s support index lists Error Codes 267 and 600 under “Banned from an Experience,” while its detailed English help article is titled “Error Code 600: Banned from an Experience.” The available guidance does not establish that every device or situation uses those codes identically, so rely on the full wording of your own message as well as the relevant official help page.

What to do if an experience creator banned you
- Record the details. Note the experience name, the complete error message or code, and any ban notice shown in the experience.
- Contact the creator. Roblox suggests messaging or chatting with the creator, posting on the creator’s community wall if one is available, or using social links the creator has shared on their profile, community, or experience page. Ask briefly which rule was involved and whether an appeal process is available.
- Keep the request factual and courteous. The creator manages enforcement and any appeal process for custom rules. There is no guarantee the creator will offer an appeal, reverse the ban, or respond within a particular time.
Roblox Support cannot remove a creator-issued ban or contact the creator for you.
What to do if Roblox moderated your account or content
Use the appeal option named in Roblox’s moderation notice. Eligible actions may be appealed through Violations & Appeals or the Support Form. An account appeal should include your username and a brief explanation of why the action merits review. Roblox says duplicate appeals for an action it has already reviewed will not be reviewed, and ordinary appeals generally must be submitted within 30 days. The support page describes different regional rules, including a six-month appeal period for EU users; check the current instructions that apply to your location and case.

An appeal asks Roblox to review a decision; it does not guarantee removal of the consequence. See Roblox’s appeal instructions and follow the route and deadline in your notice.

Roblox says modified versions of its app, or software that changes how Roblox works, can lead to a temporary suspension or a permanent ban if the behavior is repeated. Use the official, unmodified app. If an anti-cheat warning appears unexpectedly, contact Roblox Support. If you think an experience rule or player behavior violates Roblox policy
Custom rules cannot conflict with Roblox’s Terms of Use or Community Standards. If you believe conduct or content violates Roblox policy, use Report Abuse to report the specific chat, message, experience, or content so moderators can review it. Reporting a possible policy violation is separate from appealing a creator’s decision under that experience’s own rules. Roblox explains how to report rule violations and describes the limits on experience rules.
