If your Minecoins aren’t showing up, first check that Minecraft is signed into the same Microsoft account used to buy or redeem them. If the balance is still missing, contact the store that processed the purchase; Minecraft directs players to the relevant Apple, Google Play, Nintendo, PlayStation, Xbox, or Windows support channel.
Check the Microsoft account used for the purchase
Minecoins appear in Marketplace when you’re signed into the Microsoft account used to purchase them. Compare the account in Minecraft with the account tied to your receipt or transaction history. A different Microsoft account can make a completed purchase look like a missing balance.
- Fully close and reopen Minecraft.
- Sign in with the Microsoft account used at checkout or for code redemption.
- Open Marketplace and check the Minecoins balance.

If you redeemed a prepaid code, confirm redemption
For a prepaid Minecoins code, check that redemption completed through the Microsoft account or Minecraft.net flow. Then launch Minecraft, sign into that same Microsoft account, and inspect the Marketplace balance. Buying Minecoins in Marketplace and redeeming a prepaid code are different purchase routes, but both depend on using the Microsoft account associated with the transaction.

Resolve Marketplace errors separately
If Marketplace itself shows an error, try the general steps Minecraft recommends for the error groups covered by its troubleshooting article. These can address Marketplace access problems, but they do not replace contacting the purchase store if a completed transaction remains uncredited.

- Update Minecraft.
- Clear the Marketplace cache.
- Confirm you’re signed into the correct Microsoft account.

Contact the store that processed the purchase
If you’ve confirmed the account and the Minecoins are still missing, contact the support team for the store where you paid. Use that store’s transaction history or receipt when asking for help. Minecraft lists these support routes:

The correct support channel depends on where the purchase was made, not simply which device you’re using now. The Minecraft guidance does not give a universal delivery-time estimate or guarantee a particular refund outcome, so follow the store’s current instructions for your transaction.

Minecraft says Minecoins purchased for Bedrock Edition or Legends carry between those games when you sign in with the Microsoft account used for the purchase. If you’re checking a different account, the balance may not appear as expected.
