A Google Play review dated September 7, 2026 says Clash of Clans was “crashing exclusively on my ranked attacks” and later also during “Clan War League attacks.” The reviewer identified a Samsung S26 Ultra. This is an anecdotal, first-person report—not evidence of prevalence, a confirmed device-specific problem, or a known cause. Read the Google Play listing and review.
Supercell’s crash guidance does not identify ranked attacks, Clan War League attacks, or another specific in-game action as a known crash trigger. The available official information does not confirm that Supercell has acknowledged this particular pattern. The game listing says it was updated on September 22, 2026, with fixes and quality-of-life changes including Hero Journey fixes, but its notes do not say that attack-triggered crashes were addressed. These are minimum specifications, not a guarantee of smooth operation. Supercell cautions, “We cannot guarantee these specifications alone will be enough to run the game smoothly.” It also notes that a modified operating system or custom ROM may make the game unstable. Restart, then consider reinstalling
Supercell’s general crash guidance recommends checking for the latest game version and reinstalling if crashes continue. Restarting the device and closing other apps are also low-impact checks listed in its connection troubleshooting advice; these are general steps, not confirmed fixes for crashes during attacks. Reinstalling is more disruptive, so first make sure your account is safely accessible before proceeding. How to distinguish a crash from a connection problem
A crash means the app closes or stops running. A connection problem may instead interrupt or destabilize online play without closing the app. Supercell lists weak or broken connections, unstable signal or low reception, low-performance devices, server downtime, and maintenance among possible connection issues. Its connection advice includes updating the game, closing background apps, clearing cache, and restarting the device. - The precise action immediately before the problem, such as starting a ranked attack or a Clan War League attack.
- When it began, including the date and approximate time, and whether it happens every time or intermittently.
- Your device model and operating-system version.
- The Clash of Clans version, if available.
- What you see: whether the app closes completely, freezes, returns to the home screen, or only loses its connection.
Supercell specifically asks players reporting crashes to include a detailed description, when the issue started, device model, and operating-system version. Contact support in the game through Settings > Help and Support, or use the Clash of Clans support portal. The portal lists “My Game Crashes!”, “Unstable Connection,” and “Clash of Clans Contact Form” among its technical-help options.
