Microsoft has not confirmed that Roblox or Robux rewards were permanently removed from Microsoft Rewards. The missing offer may reflect normal catalog availability, limited stock, regional restrictions, or an account and login-state issue. Microsoft also does not publish a restock or removal timetable for individual gift cards.
As of August 18, 2026, there is no authoritative Microsoft or Roblox announcement confirming a Roblox-specific reason or guaranteed return date.

What Microsoft officially says
Microsoft’s Rewards redemption guidance says that some gift cards are not always available. It also says support representatives cannot provide details about when a particular card will be restocked or removed.
That means the missing Roblox listing could be temporary, but Microsoft has not promised that it will return. The same documentation explains that available rewards vary by country or region, while Microsoft’s regional Rewards guidance says users should redeem points in the region where they registered.
#1 Best Overall
- Redemption: Online only. Robux cards can only be redeemed in a browser at Roblox.com/redeem. They cannot be redeemed in the Roblox mobile app or any video game console.
- Roblox is an immersive platform for connection and communication. Every day, millions of people come to Roblox to create, play, work, learn, and connect with each other in experiences built by our global community of creators.
- Get more with every Roblox Gift Card! From now on, when you redeem a Roblox gift card, you get up to 25% more Robux. Perfect for gaming, creating, and exploring- more Robux means more possibilities!
- Deck out your avatar and unlock additional perks in your favorite experiences when you use Roblox Gift Cards to purchase Robux (Roblox's virtual currency).
- Each gift card grants a free virtual item upon redemption.
In practical terms, an offer can disappear for one account or market without disappearing for every Microsoft Rewards member.
What happened to the Roblox reward?
Microsoft-hosted Q&A discussions from April and May 2026 document users asking why Robux rewards were missing. The discussions confirm that users encountered the problem, but they do not establish a permanent, Roblox-specific removal:
- One discussion describes the missing Robux option and includes an explanation that limited catalog items can be affected by stock or regional availability.
- Another discussion does not confirm that Microsoft permanently ended the offer or provide a return date.
Community reports from August 2026 likewise describe the reward disappearing for some users, including messages referring to region or login status. Those reports show that the issue was active, but they cannot prove why Microsoft changed the listing or whether it will return.

The most likely explanations
1. Normal catalog unavailability or limited stock
This is the explanation best supported by Microsoft’s general documentation. Gift-card rewards can be unavailable, and Microsoft does not publish an individual restock schedule. Community and Q&A responses have described Roblox rewards as limited catalog items, but Microsoft has not issued a Roblox-specific stock statement.
2. Regional catalog differences
Microsoft Rewards catalogs vary by country or region. The Microsoft account’s registered region, the region in which points were earned, and the region used for redemption can therefore matter.

Do not use a VPN to try to unlock Roblox rewards. Microsoft advises against VPN use when redeeming points, and an apparent location mismatch can create additional redemption or account problems.
3. Account or login-state eligibility
The Rewards interface may show an item as unavailable because of the account, region, or login state. Check the live catalog while signed into the intended Microsoft account rather than relying on an old link or saved goal.

4. A phased or permanent commercial change
A permanent or phased change is possible, but it has not been publicly confirmed in the available Microsoft documentation. The accurate conclusion is that there is no public permanence confirmation and no guaranteed return date.
5. Roblox controversies
Some users have speculated that Roblox-related controversies or moderation criticism caused Microsoft to remove the reward. Microsoft has not publicly attributed the missing listing to that reason. Treat the theory as speculation, not fact.

Why older videos and articles still show Roblox cards
Rewards catalogs change. A 2025 Windows Central report showed Roblox gift cards in Microsoft Rewards promotional material, but that demonstrated availability at that time—not continued availability in August 2026.
Old YouTube videos, screenshots, search snippets, bookmarks, and “set as a goal” entries may all refer to a previous catalog. Availability can also differ between the Rewards website, Bing, Xbox interfaces, countries, and account types.
How to check whether Roblox Rewards is actually unavailable
- Open the live Rewards catalog. Sign in to the intended Microsoft account and search for “Roblox,” “Robux,” or “Roblox Digital Gift Card.” Only the current catalog shown for that account and region is authoritative.
- Check the account region. Confirm that you are using the region where the account was registered and where the points were earned. Do not use a VPN or proxy to change the apparent location.
- Compare legitimate interfaces. Check the Rewards website and, where available in your market, the Bing or Xbox Rewards interface. Sign out and back in, and try a current browser.
- Separate a goal from an active reward. A saved goal or old bookmark does not reserve inventory and does not prove that the reward can currently be redeemed.
- Record the evidence. Save a screenshot of the missing item, error message, account region, interface, and approximate date the reward disappeared.
When to contact Microsoft Rewards Support
Use the Microsoft Rewards support page if the reward recently appeared, other users in the same region can still see it, your account displays an unexplained eligibility message, or points were deducted without delivery of a code.
Include:
- Your Microsoft account region
- The approximate date the reward disappeared
- A screenshot of the catalog or error message
- The device and interface used
- Whether a VPN or proxy was enabled
- Whether the reward had been saved as a goal
- Any redemption error or missing-code details
Support may investigate an account-specific problem, but Microsoft’s published guidance does not promise a restock date or an explanation for every catalog removal.
Can an existing Roblox gift-card code still be redeemed?
Yes. A valid Roblox gift-card code obtained through an authorized source can still be redeemed independently of whether the Microsoft Rewards listing is visible.

Roblox says most gift cards are redeemed through a web browser at roblox.com/redeem. Redemption is generally not available in the standard Roblox mobile app or on consoles, although Roblox documents Samsung Galaxy app support. Roblox also says gift-card value can be redeemed worldwide and converted to the account’s local currency, subject to its terms.
After credit is added, Roblox explains how to manage and spend that balance, including converting Roblox credit into Robux, through its credit-management guidance.
A missing Microsoft Rewards listing, an already-redeemed Roblox card, and an invalid code are separate issues. The first concerns Microsoft’s catalog; the second concerns Roblox credit; the third may require Roblox or the issuing retailer’s support.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Are Microsoft or Xbox gift cards a guaranteed workaround?
No. Microsoft confirms that Microsoft and Xbox gift-card rewards are deposited into a Microsoft account balance. Roblox confirms that purchases are supported in its Xbox app, but the available documentation does not guarantee the complete chain from Microsoft Rewards points to every Roblox purchase path in every market.

Safe alternatives
Wait and monitor the catalog
This is the best option if you specifically want to spend Microsoft Rewards points on Roblox. The trade-off is that Microsoft provides no timetable or guarantee that the reward will return.
Buy an official Roblox gift card
Roblox lists official online and retail availability by country in its gift-card availability guide. You can also use Roblox’s official gift-card page. Avoid unauthorized resellers, auction listings, and codes of uncertain origin; Roblox says such cards may not be honored.
Purchase Robux directly
Roblox supports direct Robux purchases through its browser, mobile, PlayStation, and Xbox apps, with payment methods varying by platform. See Roblox’s guidance on legitimate ways to get Robux and accepted payment methods.
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Avoid scams
Roblox explicitly says that Robux generators do not exist. Websites, videos, or messages promising free Robux in exchange for a password, survey, payment, or account access are scam risks.
Do not buy unofficial codes, share account credentials, or use a VPN to bypass Rewards-region restrictions. Microsoft’s catalog issue cannot be safely solved by those methods.
Bottom line
Roblox has disappeared from Microsoft Rewards for at least some users, but Microsoft has not confirmed a Roblox-specific reason, permanent discontinuation, or return date. The strongest explanations are normal catalog or stock availability, regional restrictions, and account or login-state eligibility.
Check the live catalog on the correct account, avoid VPNs, contact Microsoft Rewards Support when the issue appears account-specific, and use only official Roblox purchase and redemption channels if you need Robux immediately.
