Big Fish’s “already purchased” message means the purchase is being recognized, but the game may still need to be located or downloaded from your account. On Windows, first try Options > Downloads > Find Games in the Big Fish Games app (Game Manager). If the game still is not listed, download it from My Game Downloads. Mac users should check the Game Manager’s Purchase History tab. Big Fish’s instructions do not identify one universal cause for every appearance of the message.
What “already purchased” means
The message indicates that Big Fish recognizes a purchase, but it does not necessarily mean the game is installed or visible in the app’s My Games list. Big Fish treats finding a missing game and reinstalling an owned game as separate steps: first check the app, then retrieve the game through the account’s download page. Big Fish’s missing-games instructions and its reinstall guide do not establish a single underlying cause for every case.

Find the game in the Big Fish Games app on Windows
- Open the Big Fish Games app (Game Manager).
- Click Options in the upper-right corner.
- Open Downloads.
- In the Find Games section, click Start.
Big Fish recommends this check when a game is missing from My Games. If it does not find the title, continue to the account download page rather than treating the missing app listing as proof that the purchase failed.
Download the owned game from your account
- Sign in to the Big Fish account used for the purchase.
- Open My Game Downloads.
- Find the game and click its Downloadable Game button.
- Follow the prompts to download and install it. The Game Manager redirects to the website for downloads.
Do not confuse the download page with Order History. Big Fish Support notes in its reinstall guide, updated December 5, 2025: “Keep in mind, the Order History page and the Download page have been separated.” Order History is useful for checking the transaction; My Game Downloads is where Big Fish directs customers to retrieve the game.

Check the account and purchase record
Make sure you are signed in to the account that made the purchase. Big Fish documents reinstalling through the purchasing account’s My Game Downloads page, but a missing game alone does not prove which account or order is involved.
If the title is also absent from the account’s purchase records, check the order details or receipt to confirm what was purchased. Big Fish’s Mac purchasing article says a completed purchase should appear in Purchase History in approximately 15–20 minutes. That is Big Fish’s operational estimate for the account display, not a measured rate or guarantee for this message. If the record remains missing, contact Big Fish Support with the account and order information; the general troubleshooting instructions cannot determine the cause of an individual missing purchase record.

Mac: check Purchase History and compatibility
On Mac, Big Fish directs customers to the Game Manager’s Purchase History tab to find previously purchased games. The purchase being visible does not guarantee that an older title will run: Big Fish says macOS does not support 32-bit games. Check the game’s system requirements and the company’s macOS Catalina and higher compatibility guidance before reinstalling.

Big Fish says you can install a purchased game on an additional computer by signing in to the purchasing account and visiting My Game Downloads. An internet connection is needed during installation; Big Fish says it is not needed to play after installation is complete. See the reinstall instructions for the account-based download process.

- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
