If a Supercell ID verification email never arrives, the usual causes are an address that does not match the one on your Supercell ID, a message routed into spam or a mail filter, an older code being used after a newer one was sent, or a 24-hour lockout after repeated wrong code entries. Supercell’s public guidance cannot identify the cause for any individual account or mailbox, so work through the checks below in order.
What usually blocks the code
Supercell’s verification-code guidance names a small set of explanations. The table lists each one, what it looks like from the player’s side, and what Supercell says about it.

Step-by-step fix
- Restart the flow in the game. Start the Supercell ID login or creation process again, and re-enter your email address character by character. For an existing ID, use the address that ID was created with.
- Search the mailbox. Open your spam or junk folder, then search your inbox for “Supercell ID.” If the message is in another folder, check whether a rule or filter is moving mail from Supercell.
- Clear out old code emails. If several verification emails are present, delete the older ones, then restart the login or creation process in the game so a fresh code is requested. Enter only the newest code.
- Wait out a lockout. If you entered a code incorrectly three times in a row, do not keep requesting codes. Wait 24 hours before trying to receive another.
- Change the address if the flow rejects it. If Supercell indicates the address is unsupported, try a different email address. Do not assume which providers are affected, because Supercell has not named them.
- Contact Supercell if the problem remains. Open the game, go to Settings, select Help and Support, and use the contact option. Describe what happened and provide the account details the support flow asks for.
When to contact support, and what to expect
Use the in-game Help and Support route rather than a web form or a message from someone else. The public guidance does not state a response time for individual cases, so plan for the wait. Keep the description factual: which address you used, whether the message appeared in spam, how many code attempts you made, and when. That detail helps support narrow down the cause, although Supercell does not promise a particular outcome.
Only share codes through the official channel
Supercell warns that scammers may impersonate support and contact players unexpectedly. Its account-safety guidance is direct on this point: “Only give verification codes to Support during conversations you have initiated via the in-game Help and Support section.” If someone contacts you out of the blue and asks for a code, treat it as a scam, even if the message looks like it comes from Supercell.

SMS problems are a separate issue
Supercell’s account-protection article covers SMS verification and account recovery, which is not the same as an email that never arrived. For SMS code problems, it points to device or connectivity issues, suggests checking network stability and Android’s SMS spam folder, and says to wait a couple of hours if too many requests were sent in a short period. It also notes that account protection can provide SMS verification or recovery codes for eligible accounts. Those steps do not fix a missing email, so do not expect them to resolve this problem.
What the public guidance does not settle
- Whether a specific email was sent, rejected, delayed, or blocked. Supercell’s public instructions do not report this for any mailbox, and the guidance does not diagnose provider-side delays.
- Which domains are unsupported. Supercell confirms that some are, but has not published the list.
- Support response times. No timeframe is given for individual cases.
- Publication date. The Supercell Support Portal article on verification codes does not show a publication date on the page reviewed, which was checked in October 2026. Treat its wording as current guidance as of that check.
Until Supercell identifies a specific cause for your account, the steps above cover every documented check.
