The 2b2t queue gets long when the server is full and more players want to join than can enter at once. The server’s own About page ties its large player base to YouTube attention from 2016 onward, when hundreds of players were joining every day. The official pages do not publish a live queue length, an average wait, or the number of slots assigned to each queue, so no current wait time can be stated as fact.
What the queue is responding to
2b2t says it started in 2010. Its About page states that YouTube attention from 2016 onward greatly expanded the playerbase, and that hundreds of players joined daily after that growth. That page is undated, so the daily figure describes the period after the 2016 surge, not the server’s population today. Demand of that scale is the most direct explanation the official material gives for a line forming at the door.
Why a full server creates a line
The official shop’s own wording implies a capacity limit: its paid status is described as helping players join “when it is full.” When the server is at capacity, new connections have to wait for space. The official pages do not state how many players the server admits at once, how many slots are reserved for each queue, or how quickly slots open. Any figure offered for those points would be a guess.
Priority Queue: what the paid option actually does
The 2b2t Official Shop sells a Priority Queue status. The listing says: “The priority queue moves faster and will let you join the server faster when it is full.” That is the only queue-related claim the official listing makes, and it is a promise of faster entry, not instant entry or a guaranteed wait time.

The purchase is a digital server-access status sold through the shop, with checkout handled by Tebex. It does not change the server itself, and the official listing does not describe any effect beyond queue handling.
The shop also displays a few figures about the server: 15 years and 8 months old, over 80,200 GB of data, and over 1,000,000 players visiting. These are the shop’s own displayed numbers, accessed 2026-10-08. The page does not describe how they were measured, so treat them as the shop’s claims rather than independently verified statistics.

Server performance work: context, not proof of cause
A server notice dated December 19, 2025 says the 1.21.4 update reduced chunk-loading performance and describes ongoing work on chunk loading and network stability. Performance problems of that kind are relevant to how a server runs, but the notice does not connect them to queue length. Readers should not treat the update as the reason for a long queue unless a later official statement says so.
Reported wait times
Community posts describe waits in plain language, and some report waits of about two days. These are individual experiences from particular moments, not measurements, and they do not show the typical wait. Reports like these are most useful when they are read with their dates and context attached.

“Why is there a 2 day queue to join?”
Questions of this form appear in recent community posts. They describe one player’s experience at one time. They cannot tell you whether a two-day wait is common, whether it applies to Priority Queue buyers, or whether it will last.
“How long is the queue now?”
Official pages reviewed for this article do not give a live queue count or a stable estimate. A player who wants a current figure would need an announcement or live status from the server itself, and those were not found in the official material used here.

Bot and reserved-slot theories
Discussions online attribute long queues to bots, reserved slots, or deliberately inflated waiting lines. None of these claims was substantiated by current official evidence in the material reviewed. They should be presented as unverified explanations, not as the reason the queue is long.
What a reader can do with this information
- Check the official About page and the shop’s announcements for any current statement about capacity or queue status before deciding anything.
- Compare the two paths on three points: whether the ordinary line is acceptable, the $19.99 USD monthly recurring cost, and how much waiting time is worth to you.
- Do not expect Priority Queue to mean an instant connection. The official language promises faster entry only.
- Do not plan around a specific waiting time, or around a particular time of day. The official sources do not identify quieter periods, so any timing advice would be a guess.
What is not established
- The current number of players in the queue.
- Average or typical waiting time, for either queue.
- The number of slots available to regular and priority players.
- Whether the 1.21.4 performance issues affect queue length.
- Whether bots or reserved slots play any role.
Until the server publishes current queue data, the most accurate answer is that the queue is long because the server is full and demand has been high since its 2016 growth period, and that the length of any given wait cannot be stated from the official record.
