If your statement says “Xsolla*Roblox,” Roblox’s guidance is to contact Xsolla support. The descriptor points to the payment provider, but it does not identify which Roblox account or person made the transaction—or prove whether it was authorized. First check the charge’s status, amount, purchase history and who can use the payment account. If it remains unfamiliar, give Xsolla the transaction details so it can investigate.
What does “Xsolla*Roblox” mean?
Xsolla processes payments for Roblox. Roblox distinguishes the statement descriptors: for “Xsolla*Roblox,” contact Xsolla Customer Support; for a descriptor that says “Roblox” without “Xsolla,” contact Roblox Support, as directed in Roblox’s unauthorized-charge guidance.
The descriptor alone does not show which account made the purchase or who used the payment method. A public explanation cannot determine whether your particular charge was authorized; that requires an account- and transaction-level review.
What to check before contacting support
- Confirm the full descriptor and transaction status. Check whether the bank lists the charge as pending or posted. If the status is unclear, ask your bank or payment provider how it is treating the transaction.
- Ask other people with access to the payment account. Xsolla recommends checking with family members or friends who can use the account. This is a way to investigate, not proof of who made a charge.
- Review Roblox purchase history and subscriptions. Compare the date and amount with recent purchases and check for an active game-related subscription. A match may help explain the transaction, but it should be verified against your records.
- Consider whether a small pending amount could be a verification. Roblox says Xsolla may make a verification micro-transaction, typically $0.20–$0.90 USD. Roblox describes it as a verification code and says the amount is automatically credited back within 1–10 working days, whether or not the purchase is completed. If the code is not verified, Roblox says the purchase will be refused. A charge in that range is not, by itself, proof that this is what happened.
Could it be a pending authorization or delayed payment?
Xsolla says a small pending amount may be a temporary card verification, or a payment may still be processing. Its guidance estimates that some unsuccessful payments may fail to clear and return within 1–10 days, depending on the payment system; a payment still processing may take up to five business days. These are provider estimates, not guaranteed timelines. Banks can display pending and posted transactions differently, so check the status with your payment provider.

Xsolla also notes that a receipt may not be emailed automatically if no email address was entered at checkout. So a missing email receipt does not establish that no payment occurred.
How to report an unfamiliar or unauthorized charge
If the descriptor is “Xsolla*Roblox” and your checks do not explain the transaction, contact Xsolla through its official support page. Provide the transaction date and amount, and include the transaction number and payment-account details if available or requested.

Roblox says a dispute can limit its ability to issue a direct or immediate refund. If you submit a receipt to Roblox, its receipt guidance says the order number, billing address, Roblox product and purchase amount should be visible. Xsolla says it may help locate a previous-payment receipt if you provide the game or service name; the game account name or linked email can also help. It may ask for a screenshot from the payment system to verify payment-account ownership and may refuse a receipt request without proper evidence.
For an unauthorized-charge report, Roblox asks for the charges listed by date and amount, billing name and payment-method details such as the card’s last four digits or PayPal account email. Its guidance also lists the Roblox username and, where applicable, Google Play order number. Provide only the information requested through official support.
