There is no single cause for KLETKA crashes on PC. The developers’ update notes, the game’s Steam store page and developer replies in Steam discussions point to several separate causes: a PC that falls short of the listed requirements, a “DirectX 12 is not supported” error at launch, game bugs fixed in a specific update, mods that do not yet support the newest build, and damaged local game files. The fastest route is to identify which pattern matches your crash, then work through the fixes that address it.
Identify which kind of KLETKA crash you have
Crashes look alike from the outside, but the available sources tie different symptoms to different causes. Match yours before changing anything, because a fix for one pattern rarely helps another.
| Symptom | Most likely area | Start with |
|---|---|---|
| Error says DirectX 12 is not supported | Graphics API at launch | Fix 3 |
| Crash on startup, before the menu | Hardware match, game files, DirectX | Fixes 1, 3 and 6 |
| Started after a game update | Build version and Unreal Engine 5.7 change | Fixes 4 and 5 |
| Started after installing mods | Mod compatibility with the current build | Fix 5 |
| Only in multiplayer or online play | Online subsystem and connection | Fixes 6 and 7, then 8 |
| During enemy encounters or graphics-heavy moments | Game-side bugs already addressed in updates | Fix 7 |
Before you start, note the exact failure: the moment it happens, whether an error message appears, what you were doing, and whether it began after an update or after you added mods. Those notes tell you which fixes to prioritise.
Compare your PC with KLETKA’s Steam requirements
The Steam store page lists the figures below. They are the published requirements, not a verdict on your machine. A crash does not prove your hardware is the problem, and the available sources do not support buying new parts on their own.
#1 Best Overall
- Compatible with Windows and Android.
- 1000Hz Polling Rate (for 2.4G and wired connection)
- Hall Effect joysticks and Hall triggers. Wear-resistant metal joystick rings.
- Extra R4/L4 bumpers. Custom button mapping without using software. Turbo function.
- Refined bumpers and D-pad. Light but tactile.
| Component | Minimum (as listed) | Recommended (as listed) |
|---|---|---|
| Operating system | 64-bit Windows 10 | Not stated |
| Processor | Intel Core i5, with AVX and AVX2 support | Intel Core i7 |
| Memory | 6 GB RAM | 8 GB RAM |
| Graphics | GeForce GTX 650 | GeForce GTX 1080 |
| DirectX | DirectX 12 | Not stated |
| Storage | 3 GB available | Not stated |
Check the live listing on KLETKA’s Steam store page before relying on these numbers, because requirements can change. To check your own system, open Windows Settings, go to System, then About, and confirm the “64-bit operating system” entry. For DirectX and graphics details, press Win+R, type dxdiag and press Enter, then read the System and Display tabs.
The 8 fixes, in order
Work through these in sequence and stop once the crash goes away. Each step targets a different cause. None is a guaranteed result: the sources show developer suggestions and player reports, not verified cures for every crash.
Fix 1: Confirm your PC meets the listed requirements
Compare your Windows edition, processor, memory, graphics card, DirectX version and free storage with the table above. If you fall short of a minimum item, that is a likely cause, and no software setting will fully compensate for it. If you meet every minimum and still crash, move on to the next fix.

Fix 2: Read the Crashes section of the in-game Support Journal
KLETKA’s official announcements describe the Support Journal, introduced in Update 1.1.2 (May 14, 2026) as an in-game place for common solutions, FAQs and bug reporting. Update 1.1.3 (May 22, 2026) added a Crashes section to it, designed for crash situations and potential solutions. Open the Support Journal from inside the game and read that section directly. The public announcement does not reproduce its advice, and the available sources do not show its text, so treat any summary you find elsewhere with caution. The original notes are on the KLETKA announcements page.

Fix 3: If the error says DirectX 12 is not supported, launch with DirectX 11
In a Steam discussion thread from December 2024, a player reported a “DirectX 12 is not supported” launch error. Developer ln404 replied on December 13, 2024, in Russian:
Попробуйте запустить через 11 директ. Его можно выбрать во время запуска игры.

English translation: “Try launching through DirectX 11. You can select it when launching the game.” The original poster said the suggestion worked. This is a targeted test for that specific error message, drawn from a 2024 thread. It is not confirmed for every later build or every crash.
- Confirm the error text says DirectX 12 is not supported. If it does not, skip this fix.
- Close the game completely.
- Launch KLETKA and choose the DirectX 11 option when the game offers it. If the choice is not offered at startup, use the launch options in Steam, as the developer’s reply describes.
- If the crash continues, or the game still reports DirectX 12, return to your normal launch method.
The discussion is at the developer reply thread on DirectX 12 unsupported errors.
Fix 4: Make sure you are on the current build and read the latest notes
Two recent updates matter for stability. Update 1.0.10 (March 3, 2026) said the developers took a deeper look at crash issues. Update 1.1.4 (May 28, 2026) moved KLETKA to Unreal Engine 5.7. Let Steam finish any pending update, restart the game, then check the announcements page for anything newer. The latest notes available here date from May 2026, so later patches may already have changed the picture.

Fix 5: Check mods if the crash began after an update or after you added mods
Update 1.1.4 warned that some Workshop mods may not work for now. If the crash started after that update, or after you subscribed to mods, they are a prime suspect. Check each mod’s Workshop page for a note about the current version. If a mod does not confirm support for the current build, unsubscribe from it, restart the game and play for a few sessions. Record which mod you removed and whether the crash stopped, because that narrows the cause to a single item.
Fix 6: Verify the game files through Steam
Steam can check installed files for missing or damaged content. In your Steam Library, right-click KLETKA, choose Properties, open Installed Files, and select Verify integrity of game files. Wait for the process to finish, then restart the game. A developer-pinned Steam discussion recommends this check for downloaded-game errors, but that post is about multiplayer connection trouble. Treat the check as a general file-integrity step rather than a fix for all crashes. The thread is at the pinned connection troubleshooting post.
Fix 7: Match the crash to a category the developers have already fixed
Update 1.0.10 recorded fixes for crashes related to enemies, online subsystems and the graphics processor, and noted that network load was significantly optimized. The developers wrote:
Best Value
- Platform Compatibility: This PC controller is designed for Windows PC, Steam, Switch, Android, and iOS. Xbox-style asymmetric stick layout for PC gamers. Three modes cover all your devices. Please check your device compatibility before purchase

- Back Buttons & Battery: Two programmable back buttons map combos and shortcuts. Textured grips with dual vibration. 1000mAh battery delivers up to 20H playtime. RGB can be turned off. A solid PC controller for gaming with custom back buttons
- ABXY Layout Switch: Press B + Minus + Plus to swap between PC and Switch modes. Features: 1000Hz polling rate, RGB lighting, turbo. Note: designed without mic jack or gyro sensor
“This time we took a much deeper dive into crash issues on low-end PC configurations, and significantly optimized network load.”
This statement is relayed by SteamDB from Steam’s patch notes, not taken from a separately opened developer post. You can check the SteamDB copy of the March 3, 2026 patch notes for yourself. If your crash occurs during enemy encounters, in online play or during graphics-intensive moments, and you have not updated since before March 2026, updating and retesting is the most direct step. If the crash persists on a current build, the cause is probably something else, and the next step is a report.
Fix 8: Report the crash with the details the developers need
If the earlier steps do not resolve it, use the Support Journal’s bug-report feature. The official announcement says it lets you send a report without leaving the game. Include:
- the exact error text, or a description of the freeze or closure
- when it happens: on startup, while loading, during play, or only in multiplayer
- your PC specifications, including processor, graphics card, memory, and whether Windows is 64-bit
- your Windows version and the KLETKA build you are running
- which mods are installed, and any you disabled during testing
- the steps that reproduce the crash
If the Support Journal does not solve it, Steam’s technical issue page for KLETKA links to the game’s discussions and community guides.

What to avoid
Several common suggestions for PC crashes have no basis in the KLETKA sources. Skip these:
- registry edits recommended by unofficial guides
- third-party driver or “optimizer” utilities
- disabling antivirus software indiscriminately
- BIOS changes
- replacing or buying components before the requirements check shows an actual mismatch
If none of the eight steps helps, the crash has a cause the published sources do not explain. In that case, the in-game report is the route most likely to put the problem in front of the developers.
