The reported dispute involved one character, Tung Tung Tung Sahur—not the removal of the Roblox experience Steal a Brainrot. In September 2025, reporting said the character had disappeared while its creator’s agency and the game’s developer discussed its use. The agency said it had not asked for a takedown and remained open to discussion; those are the agency’s claims, not a court’s findings.
What happened to Tung Tung Tung Sahur?
A September 19, 2025 report said Tung Tung Tung Sahur had disappeared from Steal a Brainrot. It identified Noxa as the character’s creator and Mementum Lab as Noxa’s agency. A September 22 follow-up by Dot Esports reported that the game’s developer, Sammy, asked the agency to contact his lawyer and removed the character while the matter was being discussed. That account is reporting about the parties’ actions, not a judicial finding.
The reported removal was of the character. The available reporting does not say that Roblox deleted Steal a Brainrot or that the entire game was taken down. The September report included examples of upset player reactions, but does not establish how many players were affected or how fans generally responded.
What does Mementum Lab say?
Mementum Lab said it had not explicitly requested that the character be removed and remained open to discussion about its use. The agency’s statement, reproduced in the September 19 report, said: “We were always open for discussion and Noxa would be happy for the players to keep playing with Tung Sahur.”

The statement also said, “Steal a Brainrot is making millions in revenue using Noxa’s work, in which we invest time and resources,” and described the situation as unfair to studios that had acquired licenses. The revenue wording is the agency’s assertion, not an independently verified figure or a finding about who owns the relevant rights. Dot Esports also reported the agency’s position that human prompting and creative vision were involved in the character’s authorship; that is an argument attributed to the agency, not settled law.
Was this a court ruling about copyright?
No court ruling deciding copyright ownership or infringement in this specific dispute is established by the available reporting. The public accounts describe a disagreement over use of the character and licensing; they should not be treated as proof that either side’s legal position prevailed.

A secondary legal-research mirror reports that Spyder Games LLC v. Mementum Lab was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on November 26, 2025. However, the mirror labels itself “Draft — sourced but not yet reviewed” and says motions were scheduled for September 16, 2026, while calling for verification of later rulings. It is therefore not reliable confirmation of the case’s current procedural status or outcome. Roblox’s 2025 annual report discusses other legal matters, including a separate copyright case concerning a recording allegedly used in MeepCity; it does not establish that Roblox itself was a party to this character dispute.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What can players conclude about the game?
The September 2025 reports support a limited conclusion: Tung Tung Tung Sahur was reported removed from Steal a Brainrot amid discussions involving the developer and Noxa’s agency. They do not establish that the experience was deleted, that the character was permanently removed, or that a court ordered its removal. Any claim about what happened after those reports would need confirmation from reliable, current sources.
