Has Embark confirmed another Trigger ‘Nade nerf?
No. In its September 8, 2026, Live Update 1.45.0, Embark did not announce a new Trigger ‘Nade balance change. It said a smaller update was planned before October 8, but did not specify its contents. That leaves a future nerf possible, not confirmed.

The same 1.45.0 notes list a known issue: “The throw animation may sometimes fail to play when attempting to detonate a Trigger ‘Nade immediately after throwing it.” That is an animation issue, not evidence of a balance adjustment.
What did the earlier Trigger ‘Nade changes do?
Embark made two documented balance passes in 2026. The January update changed how the grenade deals damage and how long it takes to detonate after triggering; the April update added action lockouts to slow repeated throws and triggers.

January: less damage at range and a longer detonation delay
In Update 1.11.0, Embark said the Trigger ‘Nade dominated PvP encounters and was favored over its other grenades. The patch changed damage falloff and increased the trigger-to-detonation delay from 0.7 to 1.5 seconds. Those are patch-note values; they are not independent measurements of damage, usage, or win rate.
April: slower repeat actions
Update 1.26.0 addressed how quickly players could chain actions. Its 1-second post-throw and 1.3-second post-trigger delays are separate from January’s detonation timer: they limit when another throw or trigger action can happen.

The documented history shows Embark has already adjusted the grenade’s blast behavior, detonation timing, and action cadence. It does not establish that another nerf is planned. The September 8 notes’ mention of a smaller update before October 8 is not a balance promise, and the animation issue in those notes should not be read as one.
Because ARC Raiders is updated over time, the answer can change with later release notes. The latest official detailed update page reflected here is 1.45.0, dated September 8, 2026; its notes do not verify what any later September or pre-October patch contained.
