EA says standard members receive a Deployment Pack with cosmetics and an XP Boost. EA Play Pro is a separate offer: it provides access to the Phantom Edition through the EA app, subject to EA’s terms. Battlefield 6 launched on October 10, 2025, so this is now a question of current access and rewards—not pre-release access.
What does EA Play include for Battlefield 6?
EA distinguishes between a reward for standard EA Play members and game access for EA Play Pro members:
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
| Membership or route | Battlefield 6 benefit | Where or how it applies |
|---|---|---|
| EA Play | A Battlefield 6 EA Play Deployment Pack with cosmetics and an XP Boost, as described by EA. The FAQ does not say standard EA Play includes the full game. | Check the current reward listing and your regional membership page for availability and terms. |
| EA Play Pro | Access to the Battlefield 6 Phantom Edition under EA’s offer terms. EA describes the offer as unlimited access and also lists a Deployment Pack and recurring in-game rewards. | The Phantom Edition offer is through the EA app only. |
| Outright purchase | Buy Battlefield 6 separately from an EA Play membership. | EA lists PlayStation, Xbox, the EA app, Steam, and Epic Games as purchase platforms. Platform availability for a purchase does not mean the Pro offer works on that platform. |
EA describes Pro access as applying to members with an active EA Play Pro membership, or to someone who separately purchased Battlefield 6 and has an active EA Play membership, under the stated offer conditions. Read the Battlefield 6 FAQ for the current wording rather than assuming that one subscription’s benefits transfer to another storefront or tier.
Does EA Play Pro work on PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, or Epic?
EA’s Battlefield-specific FAQ says the Phantom Edition access offer is through the EA app only. That is distinct from where you can buy the game outright: EA lists console platforms and several PC storefronts on its Battlefield 6 purchase page.

- Epic Games Store purchase: EA says Epic purchasers need both the EA app and an EA account.
- EA Play Pro offer: Access to the Phantom Edition is through the EA app only, according to EA’s FAQ.
These are different access routes. A listing for a console or PC storefront establishes that the game can be purchased there; it does not establish that an EA Play Pro subscription grants access on that platform.
Are the Deployment Pack and other rewards still available?
Reward packs and their claim windows can change. EA’s membership page lists time-bounded Battlefield 6 rewards, including an S4 EA Play Pack shown for July 21 through October 12 and an EA Play Deployment Pack listing dated October 10. Those listings do not establish that a particular pack remains claimable now, or in every region. Check the live EA Play membership page and your storefront for the current reward and its terms.

Standard EA Play also advertises general membership benefits such as a game library, selected new-release trials of up to 10 hours, and a 10% discount on EA digital purchases. Those general benefits do not establish that Battlefield 6 itself is included with standard membership. See EA’s regional EA Play page for its current benefits and local pricing.

Which option should you choose?
- You only want member rewards: Standard EA Play is the tier EA identifies with the Deployment Pack benefit. Confirm that the pack is currently offered and that its terms suit you.
- You want subscription access to the Phantom Edition: EA Play Pro is the relevant offer, and EA says it works through the EA app only. Check the current eligibility terms before subscribing.
- You want the game on a particular platform or storefront: Compare the outright purchase options on EA’s purchase page. Do not infer subscription access from a platform’s purchase listing.
