Points are shared between the games, but that does not make every cosmetic or stash tab available on every platform. PlayStation purchases are restricted to PlayStation.
What carries over: points, cosmetics, and stash tabs
| Purchase type | What to expect in Path of Exile 2 |

| Points | Grinding Gear Games (GGG) support said on April 16, 2025, that points are shared between Path of Exile 1 and 2. Platform restrictions still apply, particularly for PlayStation purchases. GGG support reply GGG platform clarification |
| Cosmetics | Many existing items have been added, but not every item is currently available. GGG said in its November 21, 2024 Early Access FAQ that items were still being added; its March 30, 2025 FAQ said more had been added and the rollout was continuing. Early Access FAQ Dawn of the Hunt FAQ |
| Stash tabs | PoE 1 tabs carry over where relevant. A tab tied to content not present in PoE 2 may not apply, and tabs can be remove-only on a platform where you do not own the corresponding allocation. Early Access FAQ GGG platform clarification |
How account and platform restrictions work
Purchases are associated with individual sub-accounts, not simply with any account you have linked. GGG’s account-system announcement says that linked Xbox and PC accounts can use purchases across those platforms when you select the sub-account that bought them. GGG account-system announcement

PlayStation is the major exception: GGG says purchases made on PlayStation cannot be used on other platforms, and purchases made elsewhere cannot be used on PlayStation. Its clarification includes points, cosmetics, and stash-tab allocations. Cross-progression does not by itself mean that purchase entitlements transfer across platforms. How to check whether a specific cosmetic is available
- Open Path of Exile 2 and check the in-game shop for the item. GGG support recommends the PoE 2 shop as the way to verify current availability.
- If the item is not available there, do not assume that owning it in PoE 1 makes it usable in PoE 2 yet. GGG has not published a complete current list or a percentage of compatible items. GGG support reply
- Confirm that you are using the sub-account that owns the purchase, and account for the PlayStation restrictions if you play on that platform.
What to expect from stash tabs
GGG’s Early Access FAQ says PoE 1 stash-tab purchases will be available in PoE 2 where relevant. A tab associated with a league mechanic or other content that is absent from PoE 2 may not be usable there. Supported tabs can also hold different items in the two games. GGG Early Access FAQ
#1 Best Overall
If you log in on a platform without the corresponding stash-tab allocation, tabs may be remove-only: you can take items out, but cannot use the tab as ordinary storage. Platform-specific tab ownership is especially important when switching between PlayStation and other platforms. GGG Early Access FAQ GGG platform clarification
