EA has not announced another Battlefield 6 Open Beta in the official sources reviewed as of October 8, 2026. The two public beta weekends took place in August 2025 and are over. EA later pointed to Battlefield Labs as a testing avenue, but that is not confirmation of another public Open Beta.
When was the Battlefield 6 Open Beta?
EA scheduled two public weekends: August 9–10 and August 14–17, 2025. Early access began August 7. The two public weekends did not require a code, and EA listed PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the EA app. Those dates and access details apply to the concluded 2025 event, not a future beta. EA announced the schedule on July 31, 2025.

Is another beta confirmed, or is it just Battlefield Labs?
Another Open Beta is not confirmed. In its August 21, 2025 debrief, EA said beta feedback would inform upcoming Battlefield Labs events. Labs is a separate testing program; EA’s statement did not announce another Open Beta, provide a date, or establish that future Labs sessions would be open to everyone. Read EA’s Open Beta debrief.
EA’s October 1, 2026 update about the game’s first year and ongoing seasons also does not announce a new Open Beta. The official material reviewed therefore supports “unannounced,” not “never happening.” For any change, check EA’s Battlefield news feed.

Can you still play the beta?
No. The August 2025 Open Beta has ended, and buying Battlefield 6 does not restore access to it. EA lists the full game for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC; availability for a future beta, if announced, could use different platforms or access rules. See EA’s Battlefield 6 game page.
