Ghost Town says it co-developed Overcooked! 2 with Team17 and is currently working on Stage Fright, a two-player cooperative adventure. Its project information is available on the Ghost Town Games website.

In a September 26, 2026 interview with Nintendo Life, Ghost Town co-founders Oli De-Vine and Phil Duncan discussed Stage Fright and the studio’s move beyond Overcooked as its current project. Asked about the new game’s future, De-Vine said the team was focused on making it polished and complete, adding, “And then, when you’ve put your best foot forward, who knows?”

Nintendo UK lists Overcooked! 2 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition as a Nintendo Switch 2 game, released on November 6, 2025. Its listing describes local and online multiplayer and says each player needs a compatible controller. This is an existing game and edition, not a newly announced sequel. Check the platform and edition, as well as whether a retailer is offering a physical or digital copy, before buying.

In a 2026 announcement, Team17 said the franchise had served more than 100 million “chefs.” That is the publisher’s wording; it should not be read as 100 million copies sold or unique players. The same announcement cites more than 200 levels and over 80 chefs across Overcooked!, Overcooked! 2, and Overcooked! All You Can Eat. See Team17’s announcement.
