Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteOn the Stormwind Ark above Hebra, activate the five marked turbines in any order, then return to the central terminal to open the hatch and fight Colgera. The route below is organized by deck and landmark rather than lock number, since walkthroughs label the locks differently. Keep the in-game map open to track the five markers.
Before you start: find the five locks
The Wind Temple is the boat-shaped Stormwind Ark floating above the Hebra region. Examine the central Zonai terminal on the main deck to reveal five lock markers on your map. Each lock is activated by sending Tulin’s gust into a turbine; reaching the turbine may require a traversal challenge or a mechanism puzzle using Ultrahand, Recall, Ascend, or your paraglider.

The markers are a more reliable guide than lock numbers in online walkthroughs: numbering and route order vary. You can complete the locks in any order.
How to activate all five Wind Temple locks
First-deck gated room: repair the lever with an icicle
- Find the broken lever beside the gated room on the first deck.
- Use Ultrahand to attach a nearby floor icicle to the lever, repairing its missing section.
- Move the repaired lever to open the gate, then use Tulin’s gust on the turbine inside.
Upper tower: descend through the laser shaft
- Use the deck’s updraft to reach the tall tower at the north end of the ship.
- Open the heavy doors with Ultrahand.
- Drop into the shaft and steer around the laser beams as you descend. Glide toward the opening and turbine below, then activate it with Tulin.
Lower deck: bridge the stalled gears
- Reach the lower deck through an opening on the side of the ship.
- Use Recall on the large gear to ride it and access the stalled gear assembly.
- Find an icicle hanging from the ceiling—shoot it down or retrieve it—and use Ultrahand to attach it across the gap between the gears.
- Once the mechanism turns, reach the turbine beyond it and activate it with Tulin.
Underside of the ship: activate the B2 turbine
Glide beneath the Stormwind Ark to reach the lower lock on B2. This route leads directly to its turbine; use Tulin’s gust to activate it.

Find the remaining mechanism using the map markers
Use the remaining marker to locate the fifth lock. Walkthroughs describe a mechanism involving Ultrahand and Recall, a connecting icicle, and a slab attached to a gear rod; once you reach its turbine, activate it with Tulin. Because guides differ on how they number and route the locks, follow the marker rather than trying to match a particular guide’s lock number.
Open the hatch and start the Colgera fight
Once all five markers are complete, return to the central terminal and activate it. This opens the hatch and begins the boss sequence.

- Ultrahand: Using the new Ultrahand ability, Link can pick up, move, and rotate almost any object, and can even attach objects together to create bridges, vehicles, and more!
- Fuse: Magically fuse almost any object to Link’s current weapon, shield, or arrow to increase durability, damage, or even add a new effect. Experiment with lots of different combinations to come up with surprising—and sometimes hilarious—results!
- Ascend: Add a new dimension to your exploration with Ascend, which gives Link the ability to pass through solid objects above him. Rise up through ceilings, hillsides, and even certain enemies to create seemingly impossible shortcuts.
- Recall: Use Recall to make objects in motion move backward through time, letting Link ride fallen boulders skyward, recover thrown weapons, or send projectiles back where they came from.
How to beat Colgera
Phase one: dive through the exposed icy sections
Stay airborne and watch for Colgera to expose its purple icy sections. Dive through the exposed ice to damage the boss. Tulin’s gust can help you reposition or build speed between attacks.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Phase two: avoid tornadoes and repeat
After the first set of icy sections is destroyed, Colgera adds tornadoes. Steer clear of them, wait for the exposed sections, and dive through the ice again. The same attack remains the focus; the added hazard makes positioning more important.

What to prepare before the boss
The fight and much of the temple take place in the air and in cold conditions. PowerPyx recommends health recovery and cold resistance; Nintendo Life also recommends arrows and stamina-restoring food. These are guide recommendations, not mandatory requirements. Consider making a manual save before activating the terminal so you can return to the encounter with your preferred supplies.
