What does WNBA League Pass include?
The WNBA describes League Pass as a subscription for live and on-demand games, full-game replays, classic games, and selected alternate or Spanish feeds. Its FAQ also lists enhanced playback controls, NBA TV, and up to three simultaneous streams. What is available can vary by territory and local market. Quick Games and highlights are available to all fans, while full-game replays and classic games require League Pass. Full-game replay editions remove commercial breaks. Replay availability can still be affected by blackout windows.
How much does League Pass cost, and how does billing work?
The WNBA League Pass page displayed an annual price of $39.99 per year in a 2026 page capture. Treat this as a captured offer, not a guaranteed price for every market or a promise it remains current; confirm the amount and plan terms on the official League Pass page before purchase. According to WNBA purchase guidance, web annual plans renew on the anniversary of purchase and monthly plans renew every 30 days. The FAQ describes annual billing as every 365 days. App-store purchases renew under the relevant store’s terms, so check the renewal date shown by the store where you subscribe.
The WNBA FAQ lists a 40% annual-plan student discount for undergraduate and graduate students in select markets: Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK, and the US. Eligibility and current terms should be confirmed on the offer page.
Is WNBA League Pass blacked out in my area?
It can be. Blackouts apply when a broadcaster has exclusive live rights. The WNBA Help Center explains: “Blackout restrictions exist because local and national content providers have certain exclusive rights to televise live games and content.” Its blackout guide was updated August 12, 2026.

US national broadcasts
Games carried nationally are not shown live on League Pass in the US. The WNBA Help Center’s 2026 list includes ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, Disney+, CBS, Paramount+, NBC, Peacock, USA Network, Amazon Prime Video, and local team broadcasts. Nationally blacked-out games are released on League Pass at 6 a.m. Eastern the following day. The distributor list can change, so check the current schedule for each game.
US local-market games
A game carried by a local station, regional sports network, or streaming partner in your area is not live on League Pass there. The WNBA says it becomes replayable shortly after the game ends. Local coverage is based on your location and the relevant team’s market.
Canadian broadcasts and special events
In Canada, games nationally televised on TSN, Sportsnet (SN), CTV, or CTV2 are blacked out live on League Pass and become available shortly after they conclude. The WNBA also says the All-Star Friday Night event, All-Star Game, and Commissioner’s Cup championship are not live on League Pass in the US or Canada; they become available on demand after conclusion.

How location is determined
The WNBA says it uses your IP address or device location services to apply blackout restrictions; in the US, it uses your ZIP code to determine local team coverage. Use the schedule and the current League Pass market lookup to check the specific game. The subscriber agreement says restrictions can depend on the game date, viewer location, and local, national, or international broadcast exclusivities, and prohibits attempts to circumvent them.
When can I watch a blacked-out WNBA game replay?
For US national blackouts, the stated release time is 6 a.m. ET the next day. For US local-market broadcasts and the listed Canadian national broadcasts, the WNBA says replay access follows shortly after the game ends. These policy windows are separate from the time needed to prepare a replay: the WNBA says full-game replays may take several hours to process and upload. How do I watch a full-game replay?
- In the WNBA app: Sign in, open Games, choose the game from the calendar, select Watch now, then choose the stream preference.
- On WNBA.com: Sign in, open Schedule, select the game, and choose the stream.
If the game is not available yet, allow for the blackout release window, if applicable, and for processing and upload time. Quick Games and highlights do not require League Pass according to the replay guide; full-game replays do.

Where can I subscribe, and what does the purchase platform affect?
The WNBA lists web and app purchase routes, including iPhone and iPad, Android, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, and Apple TV, though purchase availability varies. In select markets, League Pass is also sold through Amazon Prime Subscriptions. The WNBA says subscribers who buy through Amazon can watch League Pass content only on Amazon Prime platforms. Check the League Pass availability page for current territory details; the service is not available in every territory.
How do I cancel WNBA League Pass?
Cancel before your next billing date to avoid the next renewal. The cancellation route depends on where you bought the subscription:
- Purchased on the web: Manage the subscription through your WNBA account.
- Purchased in an app: Cancel through the applicable app store or device subscription settings.
- Purchased through Amazon Prime Subscriptions: Use Amazon’s cancellation guidance.

Which option makes sense for the games you want?
The right choice depends on where you live, which games you follow, and how you prefer to pay and watch. Before buying, compare the plan’s current total cost and renewal interval with the games’ listed broadcasters and blackout status. If a desired live game is exclusive to a local or national broadcaster, check the schedule for that distributor rather than assuming League Pass will carry it live. Also factor in whether a purchase through an app store or Amazon limits where you can manage or watch the subscription.
