Why the clue points to GUILE
Guile is a noun meaning “deceitful cunning,” according to Merriam-Webster. Its letters are G-U-I-L-E: the opening G is a consonant, U, I, and E are the three vowels, and every letter appears once. Merriam-Webster records the word’s first known use in the 13th century.
Optional: a social Wordle-style game
If you want to play a Wordle-inspired game with other people, Hasbro’s Wordle: The Party Game is a separate, physical adaptation. Hasbro lists it for 2–4 players ages 14 and up, with reusable dry-erase boards and several play modes. It is not a way to play or retrieve this archived daily puzzle; availability may vary.
