There is no single housing decor vendor in World of Warcraft. The best starting point is Second Chair Pawdo, who appears in Stormwind, Orgrimmar, and Dornogal and offers the furniture quest chain. After that, use the in-game Decor Catalog to identify the exact source for an item: many decorations come from capital-city vendors, Midnight event vendors, neighborhood traders, reputation and currency vendors, older expansion hubs, quests, achievements, professions, and activities.

Pawdo is the most useful first stop because the vendor is tied to the furniture-related weekly quests. Quest objectives and rewards become available through the associated chain, and Pawdo can later sell the relevant furniture pieces. If an item is missing from the vendor window, accept or complete the related quest before assuming the item is unavailable.

Stormwind City housing decor vendors
Stormwind is the most convenient Alliance capital for checking several general and Stormwind-themed sources.
- Captain Lancy Revshon is in the Trade District at
/way #84 67.6 72.8. His stock includes Stormwind-themed furniture and pieces associated with the Furniture Favor quest. Some decorations require reputation before they can be purchased. - Solelo is in the Mage Quarter at
/way #84 49.6 80.2. Solelo sells several book- and tome-themed decorations. - Tuuran is near the Stormwind Trading Post area. Tuuran is used for additional copies of certain promotional or account-unlocked decorations, including some special-reward items. The relevant unlock must already exist on the account.

Stormwind is a useful Alliance hub, but it is not a universal Alliance catalog. Dragonflight, The War Within, and other expansion-specific decorations may remain with vendors in their original zones or faction settlements.

Orgrimmar is the practical Horde starting hub, with Pawdo and additional-copy or faction-linked sources nearby.

- Captain Donald Adams appears in the current housing database’s Orgrimmar/Undercity vendor grouping. Because the listing and vendor grouping can change, use the live database or an addon to confirm his exact position before traveling.
- Gronthul is associated with Horde neighborhood and treasure-hunt decor sources. Some Razorwind Shores pieces can also be obtained through linked Founder’s Point vendors.
As with Stormwind, Orgrimmar is a hub rather than a complete Horde list. Many decorations remain tied to their original expansion, activity, reputation, or neighborhood source.
Dornogal and The War Within sources
- Second Chair Pawdo is in the Forgegrounds at
/way #2339 53.0 68.0, in front of the Enchanting profession table. - Auditor Balwurz is in Foundation Hall at
/way #2339 39.2 24.2. The vendor is associated with Resonance Crystal purchases and Dornogal-themed decor.
Dornogal is an important place to check quest and furniture systems, but it does not contain every The War Within decoration. Other Khaz Algar and Undermine vendors retain their original locations, currencies, and reputation requirements.

Silvermoon City: the main Midnight special-content hub
Silvermoon contains several specialized Midnight sellers. Rather than searching for one general decor merchant, visit the vendor connected to the activity or reward you want.

Event vendors often have a second layer of eligibility. You may need to complete the event activity, earn a particular achievement, wait until the active event ends, or spend event-specific currency. Reaching the NPC is not by itself proof that every item should be visible.
Razorwind Shores and Founder’s Point neighborhood vendors
Patch 12.0.7 added more than 100 decor items, with most of the new pieces assigned to neighborhood vendors. These neighborhoods are therefore essential stops for Midnight housing collectors.
Razorwind Shores

Additional neighborhood traders may appear as content and endeavors unlock. Some stock is tied to neighborhood progress, local currencies, or endeavor rewards rather than ordinary gold.

Founder’s Point is also a useful cross-checking location for Horde neighborhood decor. Patch 12.0.7 notes that Razorwind Shores stock can be purchased from smugglers in Founder’s Point. If a Razorwind Shores item is not available from the vendor you expected, check Founder’s Point before concluding that the decoration is missing or unobtainable.

Midnight event, activity, and currency vendors
Several Midnight decorations are not normal gold purchases. The source shown in the Decor Catalog may point to a special currency, achievement, journey, or neighborhood system.
- Abundance: Chel the Chip sells event-themed decor for Unalloyed Abundance.
- Prey: Construct Ali’a sells Prey-related decor for Remnant of Anguish after the required Preyseeker’s Journey progress.
- Ritual Sites: Rae’ana in Silvermoon handles this category.
- Decor Duel: the Disguised Decor Duel Vendor in Falconwing Square handles Decor Duel stock.
- Neighborhood Endeavors: traders such as Hordranin and related vendors in Razorwind Shores and Founder’s Point use Community Coupons or other neighborhood systems.
- Patch-feature vendors: Zuronar appears at Umbral Base Camps in Naigtal and Val and sells certain decorations after achievement unlocks.
When checking a special vendor, inspect the currency and unlock text carefully. A vendor can be in the correct place while the item remains hidden because the character lacks the achievement, event progress, reputation, quest completion, neighborhood advancement, or account unlock.
Legacy expansion vendor locations
Housing decor reuses content from across WoW’s older expansions. A capital-city route will not find everything. Representative locations include the following:

There are also vendors in expansion capitals and faction settlements from Classic, Cataclysm, Mists of Pandaria, Warlords of Draenor, Legion, Battle for Azeroth, Shadowlands, Dragonflight, The War Within, and Midnight. The examples above are starting points, not an exhaustive vendor catalog. Vendor locations and stock should be checked against a live source because older NPCs can be moved, renamed, or given new pages of stock.
How to find the vendor for a specific decoration
- Open the Housing dashboard. Go to the in-game Decor Catalog.
- Search the exact item name. Searching is faster than manually checking every furnishing category, especially for themed items with similar names.
- Read the source panel. Note whether the item comes from a vendor, quest, achievement, profession, reputation, event, currency, activity, promotion, or another content type.
- Record the requirement separately from the location. The source may identify a vendor but also require an achievement, quest chain, reputation level, currency, or account unlock.
- Use a current vendor database or addon for coordinates. The in-game catalog is the authoritative player-facing check for what the character can currently see. Community tools are generally better for map locations, filters, and cross-expansion searching.
- Check every vendor page. Some NPCs have multiple pages of stock, and some items appear only after a quest or unlock. Do not stop after viewing the first page.
- Look for duplicate-copy availability. If the first copy came from a quest or achievement, another vendor may sell additional copies after that initial unlock.
- Recheck the currency and faction. A decoration may be visible but unavailable to the current character because it uses a faction-specific currency or requires progress on a different system.
Useful tools for the full catalog
WoW Housing Hub / WoWDB provides a browser-based vendor index organized by expansion and zone. Its vendor pages include names, locations, item counts, item links, and waypoint-copy functions. It is useful when you know the vendor or expansion but do not know the exact zone.

The Decor Vendor addon is useful for in-game filtering by vendor, zone, faction, source, unlock, collection status, cost, and waypoint. Its August 11, 2026 listing says that it is prepared for Patch 12.1 and that its data is updated as live and PTR builds evolve. That makes it a useful navigation aid, but addon data can temporarily lag behind a live patch; compare its result with the Decor Catalog when the two disagree.
Wowhead housing guides are useful for item-level acquisition details, coordinates, quest prerequisites, currencies, and expansion-specific vendor guides. Warcraft Wiki’s housing-vendor category is a broad index and currently lists 171 vendor pages, but it should be cross-checked against a current game database or addon before relying on an individual coordinate.
Use the tools together: the Decor Catalog tells you what your character can currently see, while databases and addons help you search across zones, copy waypoints, and identify vendors that are easy to miss.

- The item is not listed at all
- Accept or complete the associated quest, achievement, or activity. Pawdo and several event vendors can expand their visible stock after the relevant unlock.
- The vendor is present, but the item is greyed out
- Check the displayed currency, reputation, faction, neighborhood progress, or achievement. The location is correct; the purchase requirement is not yet satisfied.
- The item appeared in a guide but not in game
- Check the patch date. Promotional stock, event vendors, coordinates, and live vendor pages are among the most changeable housing information. Confirm the result in the current Decor Catalog.
- You bought or earned one copy but cannot place another
- Housing decor is collected account-wide, but copies still matter. Placing four chairs requires four collected copies. A copy used in one house may not be available for another house until you collect an additional copy.
- The database lists a different vendor than the one you expected
- Check alternate pages of the vendor’s inventory, then check linked neighborhood or smuggler vendors—especially Founder’s Point for Razorwind Shores stock. Some sources also distinguish the first unlock from later duplicate copies.
What account-wide collection does—and does not—mean
Decor collection is account-wide, so an unlock earned by one eligible character can generally be used by the account’s other characters. That does not make every purchase free, remove a currency requirement, or create unlimited physical copies. If your design needs repeated identical objects, plan for multiple copies and verify whether the relevant vendor sells duplicates after the first unlock.

This distinction is especially important for quest rewards, achievement rewards, promotions, and event items. The first unlock may come from gameplay, while a vendor later provides additional copies. Always read the item’s source and collection status rather than assuming that one unlock supplies an unlimited stack.
