What PvP items did Phase 3 add?
Blizzard’s Phase 3 announcement described new PvP class sets comprising 54 items and 18 accessories. Those totals indicate the scale of the addition, but the announcement does not provide a complete item-by-item catalogue, item stats, or set bonuses. The Phase 3 update notes confirm that level-50 PvP gear was added to vendors in Stormwind and Orgrimmar.
Phase 3 was the level-50 stage of Season of Discovery, and the PvP rank cap increased from 5 to 7. The gear’s rank requirement depended on its slot:

Where to get the level-50 PvP gear
The Phase 3 update notes place the new level-50 gear at PvP vendors in Stormwind and Orgrimmar. Use the slot’s rank requirement above to determine which pieces your character could access under Phase 3 rules.
The available official descriptions do not establish whether the Phase 3 vendor inventory remains unchanged on current realms. For present-day availability, check the vendor in game rather than assuming the historical Phase 3 list is still live.

How Blood Moon rewards worked in Phase 3
Blood Moon rewards were a separate acquisition route from the rank-gated city gear. Blizzard announced new rewards for players through level 50 and three new currencies. The detailed Phase 3 notes say Mai’zin removed the old Bloodstained Commendation items and offered a new version purchasable with Massacre Coins. Those notes specify Massacre Coins were available to players level 48 and above, and that Mai’zin also received additional level-50 rewards purchasable with Massacre Coins. The Phase 3 notes document these reward changes.
Keep Phase 3 and Phase 4 currencies separate
Blood Moon currency details changed as Season of Discovery progressed. Phase 3 used Massacre Coins for the specified Mai’zin rewards. In later Phase 4 notes, Blizzard described Bloodstained Commendations costing 25 Copper Slaughter Coins, earned from player kills above level 58. That later rule is not the Phase 3 Massacre Coin requirement. Phase 4 update notes cover the later currency.

These are historical Phase 3 rules, not a statement of current progression. Blizzard’s Phase 4 notes document progression to level 60 and rank 10, so Phase 3’s level-50 limit and rank-7 cap should not be treated as the current PvP progression system.
